I enjoy the Gran Turismo games but not enough to pay $90 for the special stuff.

It's a pretty lame special edition, although the steelbook does look gorgeous. I've never actually played a GT game, but I'm very strongly considering buying this for my wife when it comes out (since she's fallen out of love with Forza Motorsport and doesn't seem that excited about Horizon 5; maybe this'll scratch her racing itch instead).

And of course amazon has no back-in-stock alert notification for the PS5.
But then if they did, the bots would still snatch them all up.

It was a joke. I realize that there was a weekend in the middle of your order.

got mine in today.....I'm just moving everything over to the WD USB Drive and then move a few games over to the internal SSD. I think I'll leave mine standing up...I like it versus laying down....it makes the PS4 look like a PS2....it's pretty big...

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20
I got mine hooked up after cleaning up the whole system...have a Yamaha RX-V671 with everything going thru it...but it's a older AVR with just HDMI 1.4 ARC....I just moved all my PS4 stuff over to the WD 4TB USB and then moved one game...Warframe...over to the internal SSD to give it a go...
Response was far greater and better with no lag in play nor lag and drifting issues with controller which I've been having with PS4. In between missions and action quicker load time and just generally better response over the Hybrid Mechanical Drive in PS4
Video...this one has me puzzled because it just seems ..not as sharp as I was expecting. Granted I don't have 4K and a 1080P 120Hz using HDMI 1.4...a Sony HW45 projector.....but out of the box and leaving everything as is, even my letters on the 92" Screen were not sharp. It's almost the focus is a tiny bit off.
Also is it a big deal using the USB-C port over the USB-A Port for External Drive? My WD has a special Cable for it that has USB-A. But I saw where Sony and others said they recommend using the front USB-C for external Drives. I guess I cn get some Female to Male Adapter if needed but curious is it worth it.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20
My console arrived on Monday as scheduled, but I haven’t set it up yet.
PS+ now has a deal for $1 for the first month. I assume it’s like Xbox Gold in that you can only play games that were offered free while you’re subscribed. Even so, it seems worth it for extra discounts on sales like the current one.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20
Last night I had this issue with my New PS5 I had with PS4 and I'm sort of stumped since it's happening with it...I'm getting drifting, delayed response, hesitation in controls even with new controller. It happened a lot with PS4 and I even put a on-the-side antenna mod and nce in awhile still get it....
I have a older style audio rack about 5ft high, glossy wood top and bottom, glass shelves and it has a large back for wiring and two columns in front thats made out of aluminum. Middle and lower shelves has the Yamaha AVR/Blu-Ray, Network Extender and Network Switcher. The PS4 was on top glass...I decided to stand PS5 up so it's on the very top.....I sit 9ft away (have a Sony Projector on 92" screen)....the Audio Rack is on right side in a corner...the sitting distance is 9-11 ft.....
One moment all is fine but it's like if I move back or to one side (right)... my character keeps going straight and there's no response right away...like 2-3 second gap until I move....there's no obstructions; straight line of sight.....is there a synce issue with PS5 sometimes where you need to re-do the controllers?

Google your projector's latency. A lot of them aren't designed for gaming. And with the bump to 4k and high refresh rates, lag is magnified. 8-16ms is what you're shooting for. So if you aren't in that range this probably isn't the news you want to hear. Might be time for a new projector.
I just bought a new BenQ 4k designed for gaming. I think my latency is 8ms. I've been playing Last of Us with no issue. I also gave Resogun a spin which would be unplayable with lag but the projector delivers.

This it did it here and there with the PS4...it was...seldom...and not constantly but seem to happen when I was in a certain part in the room or a foot or two back more. I have a long HDMI Run...about 30Ft but has a Signal Repeater/booster in the middle and again it's not all the time. I'm not to worried about it since eventually I'll get a OLED set just for gaming and continue to use the Sony Projector for Movies and TV.
