This was my first Ratchet game and absolutely loved every minute personally. All the way through the end I was grinning ear to ear. Very impressed with the entire production of it, including the controller use.

PS5 owners get 6 months free of Apple TV. This is sweet offer. Can be for existing subs and you don't even have to claim until July 22, 2022. I have a year free that started in May, so I will stack this next may. They sent out emails about it.

I got an email "thanking" me with codes for 10% off Playstation accessories and 15% off Playstation merch, but it didn't say anything about Apple TV +.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

When you install the app the 6 month offer shows in small text. Then once in the app, the 3rd screen is:

I just paid for a month after like 18 months of free Apple TV+, so this is a nice addition.

Their full screen backgrounds for recently watched movies are just...great.

I've never been a big R&C fan and this one didn't grab me at the beginning, but it grew on me pretty fast. Great game and just thoroughly fantastic animation.

I find that comment interesting: This was by far the prettiest R&C game, and I loved it, but gameplay-wise and tone and difficulty and length, itís very similar to the previous games. This isnít like a major change to gameplay like we sometimes see with 3D Mario games. If you didnít like those but you did like this, was it just your willingness to stick with it longer, or was there something else that made you find it more appealing than previous entries?

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

I found it more involving from a story character/plot perspective, better paced, the dimensional warps offered a good nostalgic trip to Sonic CD, and I've found the level design to be less dull. The only downside is the gameplay feels a bit dated and I've run into a good number of glitches (primarily clipping, though have had to restart a few times when I've just flat lost control of my character). Previous R&C games have literally put me to sleep. I can't fully explain it.

This is sweet--my 1 year free was literally to expire tomorrow, and now I'm good until January 2022 (and no dreaded "for new customers only").

Delayed yet again. I'm not sure how many delays we're up to right now, but I'd rather wait and have a polished game.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

Apparently Sony is saying they've sold 10 million PS5s.

How many of those are in the hands of scalpers, we'll never know.

Presumably not many, or is my logic way off? Iíd imagine the scalpers are trying to move them as quickly as possible, meaning that the PS5s would still wind up in the hands of players sooner rather than later, even there was a noxious middleman forcing a huge premium.

I guess it would depend on if people have realized we need to stop enabling that behavior. Like when people tried to hoard sanitizer and toilet paper at the beginning of lockdown and then realized they couldnít scalp it like they thought and had to try to return it.

We were interested in both systems but we refused to pay a scalper and weíre finally able to get them both through retailers.

As soon as Sony caught wind of the giveaway, though, they stepped in and blocked it

Those are going for $200.
Personally, I went with the Cerny approved WD Black.

I don't think it is possible to get them from WalMart anymore, the bots seem to have taken over that ordering system 100%.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

I started using the app "Hot Stock" about a month ago. Never had any luck getting close to a PS5. Yesterday I get an alert for Best Buy. Got in as fast as I could and lo and behold I will now have a PS5 in a week

For now I plan to hook it up to my 1080P projector till I have enough saved to get a nice 4K TV. I mainly excited for the fast loading times and improved PS4 Games especially Cyberpunk .
