That's interesting, is there a clause in his contract that allows this or is it far enough from his likeness that it doesn't matter?

I just rebought Firepro on PS4 because of the last sale with DLC (fire promoter) so that'll last me a while.

I'm so happy to see a game like this! I loved Wrestlefest, WWF Superstars and Mat Mania back in the day... hell, even the Nintendo Wrestling game was fun for what it was.

I want to support this but I hate not having control over when my wrestlers does his grapple. I guess I'll wait till closer to the time to check out more videos. Would be interesting if it gets the support needed to bring Create-A-Wrestler.

I never played WrestleFest, but from watching the video on their site this reminds me a lot of WWF Raw which I had for Genesis back in the day. Similar style graphics, sound effects, and controls seem the same.

The graphics doesn't bug me as I have been playing Fire Pro Wrestling recently but I don't like the Auto Grapple feature as I would like to have some control of my moves. Also I find the Wrestlers roster lackluster.

This has somehow escaped my notice until now, and as someone with a WrestleFest Machine in his basement, the memberberries are strong with this trailer. I also love that John Morrison is apparently getting yet another name for it, "Johnny Retro"

I wouldn't blame them for the certification deal on the consoles. Apparently it's a big process when you submit a game for consoles and it takes time for them to review it before they're allowed to sell it

Did anybody besides me pick this up? I gave it a quick tryout today and it's fun... hard AF but fun. It's very faithful to the old games I just wish there was some tutorial or explanation how to pull off certain moves. Timing is the most important thing (so it seems) and mines is bad so it can be very frustrating.

So I'm getting the hang of this and enjoying it enough. It's not perfect and I probably wish I'd have waited for a small price drop. I think $20 is fair...
