Untitled Goose Game (PC, Switch)

I know we rarely start threads for Indie games, but I really think this one is special. It has gotten a ton of press since it came out last week. It's the rare funny game, like really LOL funny.
The premise is : You are a horrible goose and your job is to ruin everyone's day. You get mission objectives and it's a sandbox, stealth-based game. But yes, you're a goose. And you can't lose, you just have to try another tactic.
It's just the weirdest, quirkiest game. And I love it, so does my son.

Also it has a launch sale on eShop. It lists for $19.99 but they are selling it for $14.99 until 10/4. It's worth every penny of that and more. Here are a few recent articles about the game and its reactions

I've been playing it a bit the last couple days. I love it, but I can only play it in short bursts. I'm only in the third section (where the lady is trying to paint), but I'm finding the mix of goals very nice; Some are super easy, and some require a bit of thought/planning... but not over-thinking... at least not yet. I managed to complete some hidden goals (there's at least one page full of ??????????????????????????, where the goal is only revealed once you get it).

Don't sleep on this one. It's a lot of fun.

HONK!

I love that the whole point of the game is being an asshole goose.

The funny thing is everyone hates geese but nobody would answer "Goose" to the question "Name an animal you hate". They're annoying, they're a little scary but not scary enough to run away from. The game understands that. Technically it's nothing special but as a brilliant concept well executed, it's up there

Reminds me of Haunting: Starring Polterguy on the Genesis a little

I bought it, haven't had time to play it, but I'm pretty sure my 10 year old has already finished it and loved it. I don't think I've seen my switch since I bought Untitled Goose Game and Undertale because it's never in the dock.

I finished the game yesterday. Loved it. I have a few extra things to take care of, including the timed challenges. I can't wait to see if they expand on it, or just release endless sequels... but I'm here for all of it.

We downloaded it for the Switch and I've played a few minutes and it was pretty fun. It was more in depth than I expected, I was a bit pleased with myself when I realized how to use the radio to distract the gardener.

Like a knife to my frigging heart!

Who the Hell makes a game a two and a half month console exclusive?

Oh well, it was worth the purchase price. Enjoy, everyone!

It was definitely worth the purchase price. Having it on Game Pass means I can replay it for the achievements :D

Ah! I'm not mad I bought it, but when given the chance I get everything on PS4. Oh well.

I almost bought this on switch but then didn't. Glad I waited!

Same here. Game Pass is the best.

I still might buy a physical copy if a company like Limited Run ever puts one together, but I'm glad to be able to try it out on Game Pass.

Still haven't played more but I've joined more than one goose meme page on Facebook due to the game. The eponymous goose has really become a folk hero to a lot of folks dissatisfied with society.

Re: Untitled Goose Game (PC, Switch)

I finally got around to playing this last night with the kids. It was pretty fun with the time we spent with it. We made it to area three before they started to get bored with it, so I'm not sure if we'll get back to it or not, but that's the positive thing about Gamepass :)
