Yeah this is easily in my top 5, but then I never loved Link to the Past or Minish Cap as much as most. I'd love to have a redux of Oracles though.

The frame rate and dropping frames is very distracting... but I’m loving it so far.

I honestly don’t know how anyone beat this game before the Internet. I’m getting full stop stuck in every dungeon so far.

That’s probably a reason I’m not hugely into Zelda games. I like them, but I find a lot about them pretty cryptic and end up getting stuck. I’ve had to look up things for this game as well. I am enjoying this game though.

Back before the internet was so widespread, Nintendo had a tips hotline. I ran up over forty dollars in long distance charges by calling the hotline to get me through The Legend of Zelda, A Link to the Past.

I've never had much of an issue, the thing with old school Zelda was to just not leave any rock unthrown. But I can see how it could be frustrating.

I didn’t own or play a lot of Zelda games growing up so I never got too used to the style. Until Switch the only one I owned was was actually The Adventure of Link. I played/watched my cousin and friend play Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess. I’d like to play more of them at some point.

Welp this was a nice stroll down memory lane, kinda wish it was longer but it almost seemed like the perfect length. Was there something like the color dungeon in the original? I can't recall.

IIRC that was added to the DX version for GB Color?

I had this game on gameboy and remember it taking forever to get all of the seashells. I’m trying to decide if it’s worth it to drop 60 on this game or not. I still have such a backlog of other games I still need to finish.
