Oh, it's a sequel? I didn't realize.

Super Lucky's Tale is a 3D platformer video game developed by Playful Studios and published by Microsoft Studios for Windows 10 and Xbox One. It is the sequel to Lucky's Tale, a virtual reality 3D platformer for the Oculus Rift. The game was released as a launch title for the Xbox One X on November 7, 2017. The game is featured as part of the Play Anywhere program. It was announced during the Xbox presentation at E3 2017. In March 2018, the game became part of Xbox Game Pass.[1]
An expanded version of the game titled New Super Lucky's Tale for Nintendo Switch was revealed on the Nintendo Direct live stream at E3 2019 on June 11, 2019 and released on November 8, 2019. This same version was eventually announced for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 21, 2020[2] with a surprise release on Microsoft Windows on the same date.

Re: Xbox Game Pass/Game Pass Ultimate
Today, we’re excited to announce the next step in this journey. We are teaming up with Electronic Arts to provide Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC members with an EA Play membership at no additional cost starting this holiday. This means Ultimate members can enjoy EA Play on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Windows 10 PCs, and Xbox Game Pass for PC members get EA Play on Windows 10.

That is sweet. My EA membership expires in October so that is one less thing I will have to renew.

I wonder how the EA Play thing will work. Will it be within the Game Pass or will you have to link accounts somehow.

Just as they took the bold first steps to bring The Elder Scrolls franchise to the original Xbox, Bethesda were early supporters of Xbox Game Pass, bringing their games to new audiences across devices and have been actively investing in new gaming technology like cloud streaming of games. We will be adding Bethesda’s iconic franchises to Xbox Game Pass for console and PC.

I played that new low polygon arcade racer on my Android phone with Game Pass yesterday and it worked surprisingly well. Unfortunately I wasn't able to connect my old MOGA controller to my S10 phone, but the newer Xbox One Controller worked great. Just not something I could put in my pocket and play on the go. May need to find another option.

I’m playing New Super Lucky’s Tale right now, and this game is pretty fun. However, the loading is really really bad. Too many loading screens.

Last night, I finished playing Rage 2 on Game Pass. Finished playing, not finished the game, as I encountered the game breaking bug that causes the last mission not to appear. Seems to be pretty common and I’m amazed they never fixed it. It’s too bad, as I was really enjoying the fast-paced, blow-shit-up gameplay, even though the story and characters sucked. Pretty much the perfect game to have played for ‘free’.

Re: Xbox Game Pass/Game Pass Ultimate
I'm noticing a sudden surge (3!) in recent turn based tactics games being released and accessible on GPU. Actually more than that, but a number in the recent past.
(Not on GPU, but older and awesome, Fell Seal.)
But about a year ago, the post apocalyptic mutant animal one (can't remember the name).
And just recently, Dark Crystal Tactics (which I'm playing now), Gears Tactics soon, and what looks like a 16bit oldschool indie one, Ikenfell (sp?).
I know I'm trying games that I might not have otherwise, thanks to GPU. MS is all in on it, and apparently many developers are very supportive and are seeing benefits.
Question - Have you purchased a game or DLC that you would not have purchased, if it were not for GP/GPU? (like the DLC when the base game is on GP; or the game itself that's on GP to own it; or the game because it was going off GP)?
Just saw a clickbait article from a tech website where the gist was basically "We expect some good deals on GPU during Prime Days, through Amazon and their competitors". Some sites are saying better than we've seen before, others are saying they don't expect them to be better deals.
Right now, if you are Prime member and pay with an Amazon Prime credit card, GP/GPU codes (and many other digital gaming codes/cards), are offering 25% cash back instead of the regular 5%.
I'm going to pick up a 3 month today and see what happens tomorrow. ~11 a month is pretty good, but 25% back on an even lower price would be even better.

I didn't buy it, but "Carrion" was a Game Pass Quest to get 2 achievements for rewards. It's a metroidvania type game where you are an alien creature trying to escape a lab. It's really well done and ended up completing the game with all achievements.
