Re: Xbox Game Pass/Game Pass Ultimate
My ROG Ally died and they fixed it under warranty and when I got it back I had the free 3 months offer again.
Oldboy wasn't control one of your most favorite games ever? |
Re: Xbox Game Pass/Game Pass Ultimate
Control?? I only just heard about and finished it not too long ago. Nothing thrilling. It’s not like it was one of the most enjoyable games of my gaming life.

NBA 2K24 is now on Xbox Game Pass.

Re: Xbox Game Pass/Game Pass Ultimate
I'm trying to make it through Venba. $15 for a 1.5 hour game? Not really grabbing me but a lot of people love it and it's 1.5 hours so I'll finish it. Have 3 months of free GP after they fixed my dead Rog Ally.

Re: Xbox Game Pass/Game Pass Ultimate
I’ve been on PS for the PS4/5, but have been itching to play Halo 5 and 6. I’m not crazy about buying a new console, so figured I’d try out Game Pass Ultimate. Pretty disappointed so far.
We have great internet speed, but after about a minute in on an iPad I couldn’t even make it through a cut scene without freezing video. Once I got into the game, it lagged out. I had better luck via my iPhone so I could at least play, but the screen was way too small. Any recommendations? We only have an older laptop, which I’m not even sure has a wired connection. I’m not even sure that’s the issue though. |
Re: Xbox Game Pass/Game Pass Ultimate
I am so glad I passed it up on multiple sales because Evil West just dropped on Game Pass.

Incorrect. You’re thinking of Weird West.

Re: Xbox Game Pass/Game Pass Ultimate
I've been playing Control on PC Game Pass; I played it in the first week on Xbox, then later on PlayStation, then again on Xbox, and now on PC.
Still a great game, IMO. Alan Wake 2 (not on Game Pass) is... fine... but I'm going through it pretty slowly. It's just not grabbing me like Control and previous Remedy games. |
Re: Xbox Game Pass/Game Pass Ultimate
Are there any good deals for Game Pass Ultimate? My subscription is running out in a few days.

Re: Xbox Game Pass/Game Pass Ultimate
I don’t know if the Gold to Game Pass Ultimate thing works anymore, but that would be the best way if it does. You basically buy 1-3 years of Gold from CD Keys or Eneba, redeem it, then convert to GPU for a small fee. IF it works (big if!), you do have to let your existing membership expire first. Otherwise, each 12 month Gold code will redeem at a reduced value of GPU. Reddit or a gaming forum may have a more accurate answer.

Re: Xbox Game Pass/Game Pass Ultimate
^^ I recently had to re-up for my son... used CD Keys. I think it was $120 for the year.

I actually divided that by the number of months in a year to get the monthly price. I'm too old and it's too early. |
Re: Xbox Game Pass/Game Pass Ultimate
Cute, short game launches and on Game Pass today. This is the perfect sort of Game Pass game to me. I'd never buy it (without a significant discount), but would probably enjoy it for the few hours it takes to play through.

My daughter really likes it.

Not a fan of the controls, but it’s fine. Decent game for getting daily achievements.
Another Crab’s Treasure was phenomenal, in my opinion. |
