lwhy?

I downloaded and installed Lamplighters League on my PC yesterday. We'll see when I get around to playing it, but I need to make more use of my Game Pass subscription besides PowerWash Simulator.

I just put an hour into LL and I have almost two hours in. I'm loving it. I found another bug, if you turn off the volume it will randomly turn on and you have to fiddle with the volume level controls to shut it off again. And it crashes now and then. I hate the combat mechanics and the regrouping after every fight is a major hassle.

In spite of all that I'm playing it.

Also they have a world map where you choose missions and they don't tell you that if you gain a new character you have to read up on them before being able to go on another mission. I spent a few minutes on the missions screen wondering why I couldn't select one until I noticed the characters tab had an exclamation point

Does anyone want a free month of Game pass ultimate? You have to be a new subscriber to the service, though. I can send someone a code since I can't use it. No lurkers, though. This is interesting, Dead Space Remake has been added 9 months after release vs 12 months from EA Pro to Gamepass.

It's always 9 months. Otherwise you would get NFL 23 just as NFL 24 was releasing instead of just after or around the Super Bowl.

Excited about the just-released city builder SteamWorld Build. I really enjoyed SteamWorld Dig years ago, and this game has gotten good reviews as well.

I have 30 months that don't expire but DSS is taking up all my gaming time. I may use a month here and there to play a game I must play (like I totally would have used a month on Starfield). Got them for $7 a month, I just didn't know I was going to get this hooked on DSS (and yes it's a gacha game but after I got tokens before it went f2p I haven't spent anything else at all on it I just play, a lot).
