Nope, No active subscriptions anywhere - no recent charged from Microsoft on my card either (nothing renewed, and I have auto-renew turned off).

I'm stumped. Does anyone else in your household also have an active Gold account? Because everyone in that household has access to online play if one person still has an active account.

I pay $10 yearly for Solitaire and it let it go on like 5 months after expiration after I cancelled Google Play renewal.

My Solitaire premium expired on Feb 8, 2022 and it is still going ad-free.

So, I noticed my user id still has "Ultimate" next to it but my ultimate membership expired last year. I went into Game pass and yes, I can still install/play games.

This is definitely an oversight by Microsoft - I'm use I'll lose access soon.

Played a few hours of Flight Simulator tonight. Did it over cloud streaming too because I didn’t want to do a 100+ GB download. Quality was fairly decent, but not jaw-dropping or anything. Still, it was cool to fly around Maui and other areas for a bit :)

Ok so I figured out my subscription issue out and this may be very helpful for others.

So I definitely do not have any active subscriptions but it took Microsoft a couple of days to now flash up a message when I go t omy profile that says "13 days remaining on ultimate" - I believe this happened because I got on the ultimate plan while my 12 month gold subscription was still active....I'm not sure but I do know from researching online that if I were to renew with 12 month gold subscription (which is what I want - I don't have any need for game pass) while the ultimate plan is still active - it would renew the ultimate plan for 3-4 months instead of giving me the 12 month gold which is what I purchased - very shady on Microsoft's part.

So long story short, I had some kind of grace period pending but it didn't show up until a few days after all of my subscriptions were expired and I you need to wait until you have no further xbox live access before renewing with a 12 month gold subscription.

Okay, this upcoming indie recursive puzzle game from Annapurna, COCOON, coming to Game Pass Day 1 looks cool AF. Comes out Sept 29.

Cocoon, the much-anticipated world jumping game from Geometric Interactive and the lead gameplay designer of Limbo and Inside, will officially be released on Xbox Series X/S (Game Pass!), Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Switch, and PC via Steam on September 29, 2023.



Cocoon's release date was revealed alongside a brand-new gameplay trailer at the Annapurna Interactive Showcase and we got another glimpse of the puzzler that allows you to not only jump in and out of worlds, but to actually use those worlds to solve puzzles.



Each world becomes an orb when you jump out of it, and you can carry it with you to solve puzzles and even unlock its unique ability to help you finish your quest and power you up. You can also use the world jumping mechanic to escape danger, as we've seen the player character jump out of the world to avoid a deadly moving obstacle and then jump back in when it had passed their previous position.

Cocoon has more than just puzzles, as there are also big boss battles and combat encounters that will have you thinking on your toes and using the abilities you've previously unlocked from the worlds you've previously explored.

In our hands-on preview with Cocoon, we said, "Every time I thought I knew the game was going to zig, it zagged into places I would have never dreamed of. This is a beautiful game - not just in its art and music but in how it asks you to let go of expectation and revel in the sense of discovery. Microsoft randomly gave me a month for a buck of ultimate and I wish it would tell me an offer end date. It probably won 't be there September 6th.

It's $7.99 at iTunes too, but it's a dollar cheaper if you have Game Pass. It goes in your Movies Anywhere account and you won't lose it if you cancel Game Pass.

It changed the price to regular once I tried to redeem the buck one anyway a couple weeks ago. I activated the three free months I have, will get me through the start of November.

Nope that one title was still full price (I bought it). I got the digital Deluxe and it charged me ten and I was definitely logged in. It gives you ten percent on the upgrade but buying the base game plus the discounted upgrade was 1.50 more than full price Deluxe.
