Yep. I didn't even try to contact them about it. I just preordered it in case it ended up being hard to find like the nes classic was when it came out. I knew it was going to ship when I saw the charge pending on my credit card.

I knew as well; I just didn't want to wait until Monday to get it. Tomorrow is fine. I wouldn't have contacted them if tomorrow was the listed delivery date when I checked yesterday afternoon.

I'm interested in your guys first hand reviews. I've heard from other places that the input lag is terrible, there's for some reason double input problems with the menus, and the sound lags.

Similar to Nintendo mini consoles, though, so maybe people don't really notice/care.

Seems like standard emulation lag over HDMI and LCD. I do wish more things came with latency adjusters like Rock Band and Guitar Hero.

No, DF knows to account for that. There is a bit of extra input lag in this unit/software. Not huge, but now verified by more than one source. And the sound lag, while of varying importance to each individual, is pretty egregious.

I finally had time to open mine up. I'm disappointed in Amazon. They didn't ship it so I would get it on release day and they didn't ship it in a box. They shipped it in a padded envelope.... I played a little bit of Sonic 1 and Vectorman. Vectorman seems really hard. I died three times on the first level before I got to the bomber plane boss. I stopped playing for the night after the bomber plane boss beat me. I didn't notice that much lag so far, but I only played for about 20-30 minutes.

I played some more today and the input lag seemed more noticeable when I was playing Alex Kidd, Kid Chameleon, and Castle of Illusion. I was having trouble making some jumps in those games.

Anyone know how to rewind the games? I keep losing a player in Shining Force and want to rewind the game so I can change my strategy. I have tried to google it and mashed a bunch of button combinations to no avail.

Well, looks like I'll be getting this console for my birthday. My sister asked me what I wanted and I asked for this and she agreed and laughed because her husband also wanted it.

So I look forward to checking this out in the next week or so.

Scored this console for my birthday last week from my sister and I'm loving it. Been playing it at least 1 hour per night for the past week since it came in.

Has anyone been playing Street Fighter 2 on this? It seems like it's missing the function to kick or is that because it's only 3 buttons? I can't seem to kick my opponent.

IIRC if you only have a three button controller you have to use the start button to swap between punching and kicking. Pretty sure this game was the original impetus for Sega to come out with the six button controller.
