Wow, surprised they got the Mickey games on this. This is starting to look more appealing. Earthworm Jim is a good addition too.

I wonder if the recently released Retro-Bit controllers which are 6 button would work with this. They have a USB and standard Genesis port controller and they’re officially licensed by Sega.

This definitely pushes me toward getting this. My wife loves playing World of Illusion with our kids, but she doesn’t like playing it on my hacked Wii.

Yeah, compared to the last batch of announcements these newest ten games are pretty underwhelming. A lot of them are ones I feel like would end up on a Genesis collection like Golden Axe and Vectorman. Something like a version of Street Fighter II is expected too. Mega Man: The Wily Wars is kind of a cool inclusion, but it’s really just a weird remake of some of the NES games.

Pretty sure it’s just for looks and not a working cartridge slot.

Not the ideal situation, but Retro-Bit recently released officially licensed Genesis controllers. Both standard port for original hardware and USB port versions. It’s been confirmed the USB controller will work with this. They sell for like $20.

One thing I find odd about this (as well as other Genesis collections), why is Sonic The Hedgehog 3 always left out? The first two always seem to be included. I’ve heard about rights issues due to the soundtrack as Michael Jackson worked on it at one point, but they didn’t end up using his material in the game. It’s the one Sonic game I’m actually not that familiar with either and would like to play it (I don’t own it at all at this point). Ideally all the Sonic games (also Sonic & Knuckles and Sonic 3D Blast) should be here if you ask me.
