I’m buying all of them. It’s been my favorite franchise since I was a kid. Now my kids can play the same ones - and mock the silliness of them.

I actually think Kid Dracula is a cool inclusion for the Castlevania collection. It’s not one I really expected. I’m for sure going to get that collection.

Re: Konami 50th Anniversary Collection

What's that one that was only ever put out on the PC Engine in Japan? Has it never been ported to a US system?

Wonder if they will still include the KKK Nazi Ghost Boss at the end of level 1, lol.

Rondo of Blood, it came out for the PSP in the US ten years ago, 15 years after its initial release.

The Wii version was just on virtual console so no longer purchasable. It was $9 though.

Re: Konami 50th Anniversary Collection

Huh. Are there big differences?
And that still wouldn't include Rondo of Blood then, right?

Only differences I’m aware of are Castlevania 3.

Re: Konami 50th Anniversary Collection

and bought. thanks gtd. does it matter which game you start with? which is considered best?

i loved and played only Symphony of Night, i believe, which is why i jumped on this, though not in this collection, but i think i have somehow on the One, and a little bit of Lords of Shadow which i know is totally different and 3D...

Re: Konami 50th Anniversary Collection

That is a much better collection of games than the Castlevania one, IMO.
