I'll likely be busy for the first part of this week if not all of it. We are heading back to school to get ready to open up for the kids next week. Each summer seems to get shorter and shorter. Soon summer break will be only one day and then we will be back and burning alive outside watching kids during recess.

I figured you be busy with school coming back....Decker got on briefly late Sat and I hadn't seen you on and I had been on since early morning....saw Kanjji on and asked about playing TT but she was playing Destiny and trying to finish stuff,...then Decker must had called it...didn't play no TT, WWZ or B4B period....

I am to...off till Monday and we're expecting rain next three days. I was hoping for last weekend but guess everyone had other stuff but yea, I'm up for it...TT, B4B or WWZ which I was really starting to like but we've ran like 2 areas in last two weeks. See me on...be in either Elder Scrolls Online or Warframe probably, just ask and I'll hop over.

Well, sadly we all didn't get together and try to play some this weekend. Kanjji shot me a message asking about TT and B4B but I said I don't know....we may try with randoms again during the week but I'll throw in TT and WWZ as well...

Talked to Kanjji a bit last night and we might go ahead and try B4B this weekend even if it means running with randoms....been itching on it, WWZ (she still doesn't have) and even TT....been heavy in Warframe and ESO so need a break....

I'm available Thursday through Sunday afternoon. I've beaten World War Z (base game not the expansion) with just 2 players and 2 bots. I'm happy to play either WWZ or B4B this week. Just let me know. I'll be online trying to finish Horizon Zero Dawn.

I'd like to play but just don't have the time or energy at this point. I hope to get to some normalcy once school is in steady motion and I have all of the paperwork and stuff done.

If anyone wants to play this weekend. Post in this thread or send me a PM. I finished my Horizon Zero Dawn playthrough and I'm taking a break and keeping my PS5 off unless you all want to run through some B4B or WWZ.

Re: Back 4 Blood (spiritual successor to Left 4 Dead) -- Consoles/PC 10/12/2021

Me and kanjji played a lot yesterday and felt good...especially after watching videos on builds trying to figure out the struggles and just having a hard time....we found out our Decks were all wrong. The theme I got from watching the videos was...Damage, Damage, Damage....and depending on Melee or Gun....for Gun it was Reload Speed, Ammo, Accuracy and Cards with Buffs after damage ...melee it was Swing Speed, Stamina with Card getting buffs from damage.

We had never even finished Act I...yesterday we finished it along with Act II and one away from finishing Act III. We did one of the Special tunnels with the Totems...where you can find three of these and you get one point for each one to use on the Skull Totem Cards....these can be quite powerful. The run was fun and interesting.....

I was able to unlock Five Supply Lines and the cards get way, way better. I tried a Shotgun Build with about 3/4 of the Deck around Damage, Ammo, Reload Speed, Weakpoint Damage and Bullet Penetration....made it a Night and Day difference. I saw a All-Around DPS build that was interesting...there is a Card in one Supply Line that allows you to carry Two Primary Guns and that made a huge difference. interesting some were using a Sniper as one to take down the bigger enemies before getting to close. Haven't tried one of the Melee Builds yet.

Mix bag with Randoms' and a few times we had two bots that actually did good...but be better in a organized group for sure since some were just going after any and everything without asking. I never had a single ammo issue but kanjji did...i had two extra Ammo Cards that were about 70% extra Ammo...and that made a lot of difference....it was good to get to Act II...some new stuff, maps, enemies...

Re: Back 4 Blood (spiritual successor to Left 4 Dead) -- Consoles/PC 10/12/2021

We finally beat the campaign the other night...using two of us and Two Bots. been a fun ride after understanding and getting more and better Cards and doing builds around them. Once you just farm for XP and keep opening the Supply Lines getting more and better cards, it falls into place. Been far more enjoyable instead of the mountain of frustration when the game came out.

We're starting Children of the Worm and this will be interesting with more armored Zombies and ones who can shoot back....

Re: Back 4 Blood (spiritual successor to Left 4 Dead) -- Consoles/PC 10/12/2021

Hello All

Two of us got back into this yesterday...finished the latest DLC....River of Blood....on Recruit with two Bots. The game still is fun, has a lot to offer so we're going to set aside Sundays around 3:30-4:30 central as play time and anyone who wants to join is more than welcome. The game is far more fun with Four Players no doubt. We've been rocking with two Bots and doing fine. No Deaths or Downs in River of Blood and same running Veteran which we just started. Bests the heck trying to joing random matches which you can get whatever....

I should have some time to play this or World War Z on Sundays. I was promoted at work and have a new schedule. I'm off on Sundays and Mondays now.

Re: Back 4 Blood (spiritual successor to Left 4 Dead) -- Consoles/PC 10/12/2021

Speaking of World War Z, I saw they recently released the "free" PS5 upgrade. I have already bought the game twice, once physically and bought the digital GOTY edition and yet they want me to pay $40 for the upgrade? I guess technically I don't qualify for it for free because I didn't have the Aftermath version (this shit is getting so confusing with some of these games with different editions/content), but certainly I shouldn't have to pay full fucking price for it.
Looking at it further, I guess technically I could buy the PS4 Aftermath DLC upgrade for $20 and I assume that would switch the PS5 version to being free afterwards.

Despite the announcement of Turtle Rock saying No More New Content for B4B....We plan on still playing on Sundays. We ran thru that latest New DLC....River's of Blood...last week. Just us two and two Bots and didn't die once. It was good like the Tunnels of Terror and the whole game in general. We started on a Veteran Run awhile back, got sidetracked and now probably continue. We want to do more of the Underground Tunnels in search of missing Cards and Stuff.

Yea, the announcement shocked a lot of people because.. the game still has a lot playing, see YouTube Videos of Builds. The thought was at least two more DLC Expansions but sounds like TurtleRock is not big enough to do this and work on a new game same time. I've got World War Z ...think Aftermath....it's fun as well but I opted to get Dying Light 2 the other day, the sale price is too good to pass up. Got a few friends in it who we played the first and had a blast. Techland provided a lot of stuff for the first Dyling Light for a long time and have said Dying Light 2 has a 5yr Plan. I can see why with the huge world Dying Light 2 has and a lot of opportunities for the future. I would say if Zombie Games are a thing, look at Dying Light 2.....BUT...it has a bit more challenge and seriousness over Back4Blood

Update as of 2/5..... I'm not sure we'll be playing B4B today or anytime in the near future. We played Dying Light 2 a lot on Saturday and it was seriously fun. The ONE map I'm on is huge and the other Map is even bigger. My friend said she's been playing day one and there's a lot she hasn't seen and done. After seeing a video and reading the Roadmap to 2023, If there's a really good sale on the game and expansions, yea it's worth it but like any other Zombie game, best with friends....we just feel our time in DL2 is best since there is plans for the long term and no future or at least for now for B4B. It's still fun and all but there simply is no more than what's there already.....

Just checking to see if anyone is available tonight for World War Z or B4B. If not, no worries.

We didn't get in B4B....we stayed in Dyling Light 2. two friends who are way up helped me with story and doing some Night Stuff where the better loot is...and hard solo. Plus there's an event that ends on 7th which I'm trying to hit the numbers on. It's just a different pace and way of thinking vs B4B....mainly because your weapons do break down and have to be replaced, there's no Guns...is a Bow... the added parkour and roofs add a lot as well...
