Surprised it doesn't have Gran Turismo or Wipeout but there is plenty on it I'd like to revisit. And let's be honest, this will be hacked and we will be able to load whatever we want on it.

Who in the world picked those games? I have to agree with others, that's a terrible list of games. Now i'm glad I passed on it.

Kind of surprise that Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is not on the list but I believe since it coming to PS4 maybe the reason. I would have loved to see Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider 2 on it.

Yeah, it wouldn't have done anything for my interest levels, but I'm pretty surprised to not see any Tomb Raider on there at all.

I'm glad that they included M rated titles, but yeah, that's a terrible list of games, certainly less than half would be considered AAA games. No Spyro or Crash? Parappa? Klonoa? Castlevania SotN? Wipeout XL? Even one of the Tony Hawks would have been fun to revisit.

Wait, you are right, I didn't even realize no Crash. WTF.

My guess is that there is a Crash collection for PS4 and SOTN is coming to digital remastered soon so they would prefer you buy those.

I'm still getting this as like i said, I will be able to load more onto it soon enough anyway.

Most of those games have not aged well.

They should have went with Silent Hill instead of Resident Evil. I wouldn't bother with the original RE when the remake is so good.

Doesn't Silent Hill require an analogue controller with a thumbstick?

I can't believe I just noticed that this doesn't have one...

This being Sony, I'm sure they will sell you one though.

They specifically chose games that didn't require dualshock so I don't see them selling one separately especially since they're already said you can't add games to it.

Re: Playstation Classic -- With 20 preloaded games

Yeah what a weird list. So many staples like Crash, Spyro, Tomb Raider, etc. missing. I realize things like Crash and Spyro have recently been remastered in collections, but still this is supposed to appeal to casual fans of the PlayStation and youíd theyíd want to include classic titles like those. Tomb Raider also got big on PlayStation.

Re: Playstation Classic -- With 20 preloaded games

Spyro for sure required the analog stick and I'm pretty sure Tomb Raider did as well. Navigating a character through 3D space without one is pretty miserable and nearly impossible.
On the other hand Pandemonium is a 2.5D game like Crash and it's disappointing that neither is on this product.

Re: Playstation Classic -- With 20 preloaded games

Itís dumb that they didnít just do Dual Shock controllers too or at least one of each (one original and one Dual Shock). The only reason I can think of why they did that is if they intend to release another of these down the line. I get that the original PlayStation didnít have them right away, but it got them pretty early on in its life cycle, and I think most people probably think of those controllers more than the originals as a lot of games used them. I donít see how it can be that much of a cost cutting measure either. Itís not like they donít produce similar controllers to this day.

It's too bad you can't just put your PS1 discs into your PS4 in order to download the PS1 game from PSN to play it on a modern system instead of... this.

I seem to remember liking Syphon Filter back in the day. Can't remember too much about it other than it was some sort of spy game.

Shame they included Twisted Metal instead of the sequel. Twisted Metal 2 is a MUCH better game.

There must be mass chaos at the Amazon warehouse with all the cancellation slips coming through.

You will be able to add games to it. It will be hacked within a week of release.
