I'd bet you could get Origins for $20 on BF (just a guess though). But not a digital copy if you care about that.
I might recommend the Gold Edition for $50 now. There's a lot of additional stuff in the Gold Edition and it was a limited physical run so you won't find that version on sale. The extra content is meaty and probably worth the extra $20.

I would never allow two games to occupy a year of my life. RDR2 will be about a month of solid play and then some online action with some of you guys. After that, it will be time for KH3.

You can definitely tell that Origins and Odyssey were developed side by side, while using the same assets. I enjoyed Origins quite a bit and will likely do the same once I dig further into Odyssey.

i've been talking about this since release, playing an hour here and there and just before got to title screen. that's quite a prologue. up to level 8, going along and then saw the title come across and was like what? but, i know the controls well now and feel confident about whatever comes next. this game will literally take me a year or so if i don't give up before RDR...

I just got to level 2!
I kept getting distracted (by life) from playing and felt detached from the game the whole time.

One more question...in terms of the combat, is simple or do you have to deal with numerous combos to memorize? I'm not good with 5-8 button sequences fighting stuff.

Speaking of the XP grind and the slight flack of pay to win;
You can get a 2 hour XP boost from the Ubisoft club which is currency based on accommodations completed in most Ubisoft games. I know its not much but there it is.

Anyone who’s playing this notice a hesitation in play for like a milasecond, but frequently when playing recently? I don’t know what it is or what to do...

I have no idea what you're talking about - you mean input-lag?
Anyways, found my favorite thing in the game... I got bombarded by 3 mercenaries, all of them higher levels than me, and while I could take one or two, three was too much, so I ran for a wall, went up a tower, so they gave chase, and as each of them came up the tower to me by it's ladder, I spartan-kicked each of them one by one off the tower to their deaths below. Pretty sweet.

I ended up getting Origins and made comments in that thread where it belongs and not here....I'll just say this, after a few hours, glad I did get it....which I got the Deluxe version.

I am about 65 hours into the game, close to finishing the main story.
This is the best game I have played this year, and I never thought I would say that after playing God of War. It is also the best game in the series. It has its problems, but overall it is just amazing.
Also, I spent my time exploring, doing side missions, and having fun. At no point did I ever feel under-leveled. In fact I reached the level 50 cap long before the ending of the game. If anything it is sad now that I don't get anything when I turn in missions outside money.

So you are saying this is better than Origins?

I can’t do solid play. Just leisure, few hours on weekend kinda thing. I like it, I look forward to it and I always have fun...

I guess it’s an input lag. The gameplay stutters for like a millisecond every few seconds. Not on cut scenes, just gameplay. It’s annoying and less than desirable for a new game. Anything I can do about that?
