Yes it was announced during BETHESDA E3 conference, but was gonna wait until Quakecon when they show actual footage to make a thread. Loved the First/Last one.

Some of the sickest, action pack, adrenaline rush, good old fashion FPS I've seen in a long, long time....good grief....between Doom Eternal and Rage 2....what a ride & rush....

I'm in the minority of people who didn't love the new Doom as much as everyone else seemed to, but i'll still probably play through the single player in this.

Things like invading campaigns doesn't interest me at all though.

holy fucking shit that looked awesome! any inkling of a release date? i will just drop to easy and finish original because it is fucking awesome, but got very fucking hard and frustrating on normal. who knows, maybe i'll see if i can push through on normal, but it was fun as hell when i was playing and succeeding...

Thanks for posting that one …"Gerry"....Doom has come a long, long way....I still have the Doom for the Xbox...and that one was downright dark & scary…...we need more games like this; just old fashion FPS shootem', bashem', blow up, slice & dice fun...…and the Doom Universe....unreal....


I hate to admit but still haven't opened up the other "Doom"...too busy with huge open world, story driven games.....that's being loaded today.....I might have to look at this for the PC. Games like this are made for the KB & Mouse but like to see more on the console version. Great job by the Dev Team on returning and keeping Doom Alive...

Finally did last night....darn nearly 31GB update....just good old fashion old school FPS stuff. Reminded me of the early days with Unreal Tournament...one of my all-time favorite games...except in SP & no AI Friendly Bots....

Was reading an article on the Doom Eternal with the Invasion Feature....and I totally forgot this but early Doom did have a two-player co-op feature....now if they can incorporate that....WOW....

There's a word called …."Backlog"....that I'm sure many here are fully acquainted with....I'm trying to make up for lost time....while still dealing with Elder Scrolls Online, Ghost Recon Wildlands, Fallout 4 and Warframe….

the new one looks really more of the same in terms of gameplay and mechanics, but who cares. new beasties and guns and some minor ability tweaks, scaling walls, this is going to be so good.

was there no mention of a possible release date?
