yah, I did the one that you need 5 of, I'm at about 15 or so of the other ones. Going to try abandoning some of the harder ones and hopefully it spawns some quicker ones for the last 10 or so. Then I just need 1 more Side mission and the 100 ability points, not sure how far I am from that, but it feels like I hit 50 a long time ago.

Re: Control (Remedy) - PC/PS4/XB1 - 8/27/2019

I kinda forgot how easy the game gets once you've leveled up your weapon a little bit. I'm coasting through sections of the game that gave me so much grief the first time I played.
I just have a couple side quests left before I go after
Spoiler:
Tomassi, for the second time.

I've already unlocked that quest... Just don't want to do it just yet.
then I'll tackle the add-ons, which I've been looking forward to.

Hell, once you get multilaunch the game is a breeze.

I did all of the side missions and even some missions in the DLC. I still had to find some of the hidden locations to get enough points. I actually used the reset ability when I was getting frustrated trying to unlock that trophy. I reset and had 99 points even after having finished all story missions and 18 side missions. I had even found a few of the hidden locations by then I went and solved the luck and probability puzzle for the 2 points that put me over the top. Some of the hidden locations are a pain to reach. Now I'm doing the Foundation DLC, which I don't really like too much. I also have 2 trophies in AWE to 100% that one.

I'm just shy of there on my skill tree. Didn't want to spend 8 on a single skill, but if it's the game-changer, I will save up for that one.

You could always take a screenshot of your current skill tree, then wipe it out and rebuild it/respec with a focus on that -- it'll save you a little time to see if you like it or not. I don't think there's any penalty for doing that, thus a screen shot to remember what skills you have currently should be sufficient.

They're quick, but not instantaneous. Like maybe 15 seconds to load a level.

on ps5 there is enough time for you to walk across the room to pick up the controller you flung against the wall after Tomassi beats you again because that Winged creature appears out of nowhere next to you and kills you.

The Foundation. Is better later than early on. There is a lot of AP play in there.

Re: Control (Remedy) - PC/PS4/XB1 - 8/27/2019

I have not. I'm at the last bit of The Foundation, then going to do the AWE add-on next.
The part I spoilerized earlier was a pain in the ass. Probably died twenty times, losing the majority of my Source bits.
I've barely done any Board Countermeasures or those timed missions. Might not bother. Also haven't used the jukebox at all yet... So I still have some stuff to do if I feel like it after the expansion.

Overall, I still really dig this game. Should be interesting to see if Remedy continues with the concept.

Re: Control (Remedy) - PC/PS4/XB1 - 8/27/2019

The Cat trophy in The Foundation was a pain in the ass. Now I need to track down the remaining collectibles in this DLC, which will also be a pain. I have to look through all of the collectibles in the game and basically whittle it down to the ones still remaining in the area. That will be the last trophy in this one and then I have two left in AWE. My son wants us to play through Concrete Genie next. He loves that game.

Fuuuuuuuuuck Hartman, man.
Worst. Boss. Fight. Ever.

Seriously, I hated that last bit. Damn near broke my controller.

The base game for PC is part of next month's humble bundle for anyone that cares.

Re: Control (Remedy) - PC/PS4/XB1 - 8/27/2019

Would there be any reason to revisit this on Series X? I mean I know there is tremendous upgrade in load times, but I finished main, I think most side missions, as well as, two DLCs.

Is there some place I can check on xbox what my completion percentage is? I mean I think I’ve done everything and don’t really have an urge to replay from beginning and don’t care what percentage is in relation to 100, was just curious, as I am with most games in how many hours I actually logged. I know some say, but some seem hidden or just not accessible or built in feature of game, which seems absurd.

So, any real reason to revisit on new system?

I probably wouldn't. I really liked the game, and it might look a bit prettier, but unless you were already planning on another playthrough, it's not that different.

It runs a lot better and has some great raytracing (which primarily comes across as shiny floors), but it's probably better to just fire it up again in a few years instead of an immediate re-do.

Re: Control (Remedy) - PC/PS4/XB1 - 8/27/2019

Yeah, really have no itch since I really played to death. I mean 80% complete for me on this is highest since Red Dead Redemption, but that was a sublime and masterful game that I became obsessed with. Did the DLC’s and became burnt out. Tried to get back into it again some time ago and just couldn’t. Oh well. Should have waited to finish Control, but couldn’t on this bc I liked it so much.
