Sounded like Sean Bean doing narration. If so, I th I that is 2nd I’ve heard him in in past 2 days. He does have a great voice, but what I think is at least 2, 2 different games, c’mon it’s, whatever. Wish I could remember 1st I heard him in either yesterday or very recently...

I kinda wonder why they didn't go back to Tenchu since that was more well known and it seems like would have been more hyped seeing a comeback. This seems like a similar enough game.

A lot of previews and gameplay videos from Gamescom are out. Here's Polygons.

The Souls games and Bloodborne can be notoriously uninviting, and that’s what fuels their sense of satisfaction. By contrast, Sekiro’s appeal lies in its careful consideration. Reading your enemies, perfecting the timing on deflecting attacks and creating clever openings: These are the keys to staying alive. Precision like the kind Sekiro requires of you isn’t rare for action games, even if it feels dissimilar from FromSoftware’s most recent series. In Sekiro’s case, however, we found ourselves playing it less like an action game, and more like the kinds of fighting games that make you study your opponents before striking.

Man this release date just snuck up on me. I really need to hold off on getting this right at release -- I just have too much to play and I keep abandoning games before I've finished them these days. It's a bad habit. When I do get it, it'll be on PC for sure.

Looking forward to this and already have it ordered. Just a bit disappointed that there is no online coop like the previous From Software games. Guess I'll have to pucker up and do it all by myself.

Oh crap, this looks great, but I'm hearing that it's even tougher than the Souls/Borne games... I ain't got no time to "git gud"!

Cool, that seems to be about par for the course for FromSoftware (Demon's Souls was 32 - 47 hours, Dark Souls 3 was 30 - 45 hours, Dark Souls 1 was 47 - 60 hours, Bloodborne was 31 - 45 hours, etc; )
Even the semi-similar Nioh (Team Ninja) managed 35 - 62 hours.

Anyone try this out yet? I won't be able to dive in until after work. I pre-loaded last night so it would be ready for me.

Not yet, I went with the PC version after hearing it had the same frame dips as Souls III on the non-X/Pro consoles.
