Old Boy -- with a billion options to clean something (from logical to lethal), don't use alcohol... ok? Just go get a Clorox wipe and you're done. Also, nickdawgy, congrats on standing up in this thread and being "the man". I was going to remind you that the NES Classic is coming back for $60 in late June. |

I remember back to being a kid, we had an Atari 5200. My mother decided the controllers need to be cleaned so she took them apart and soaked them in soap and water.

Yes you can use wipes, you are cleaning plastic. If you need to take the controller apart there are many videos online to help. I just now cleaned my XBox One Elite Controller for the second time. Took it completely apart, cleaned the parts, lubricated them, cleaned the thumbstick undersides that become notchy with build up and wiped it down with a Lysol wipe and put it back together. 15 minutes and ready for action. |
