Seems like the original RAGE, just amped up Fury Road style.

You can't really believe anything from Gearbox, though.

8/2/11 - Eurogamer reports that their sources say Borderlands 2 is about to be announced. Randy Pitchford decries this as shoddy journalism.

Re: E3 2018 - June 12th - June 14th

"The highly-anticipated title from one of 2K’s biggest franchises, which had been planned for release during the current fiscal year, is now planned for launch during fiscal 2020 to allow for additional development time."

So if they are talking about Borderlands 3 here, it might not make an appearance at E3. Or they could be talking about the next Bioshock game.

Re: E3 2018 - June 12th - June 14th

About time going back to the basics of just all-around good fun play.....

Report: Rage 2 Will Not Have Loot Boxes

After the first teaser and gameplay trailers for Rage 2 earlier this week showed what we can expect from the post-apocalyptic sequel, we now have confirmation of at least one other cool bit of info: It reportedly does not have loot boxes.
Speaking with German publication GameStar, id Software confirmed loot boxes are out, but that the long-tail, games-as-a-service approach is still in. According to translation by USGamer, id Software studio director Tim Willits said id wants "people to play Rage 2 longer," though he did not elaborate on what, specifically, that would entail.

That actually looks pretty cool, but a turret style gun? Give me a real battle rifle.

Bethesda is teasing something Fallout related on Twitch. Fallout 4 for the Switch? Or A brand new FO? I’m hoping for the Switch port

I hope we heard any news about Elder Scrolls 6 at the show. Probably won't see in maybe two years.

Re: E3 2018 - June 12th - June 14th

Vault 76 in the Fallout world is no ordinary Vault...it's location is around Washington D.C and had ties to the Pentagon housing some Alien Tech...no telling what they have in mind.

Plus, Bethesda has Rage 2. possible more Skyrim stuff and those into the Elder Scrolls Universe have been waiting a long time for a possible Elder Scrolls 6. Looking like Bethesda will have one heck of a E3 Show.

Re: E3 2018 - June 12th - June 14th

As to the "Shadows Die Twice" 30 second clip introduced to the Game Awards last December that had many wondering if Bloodborne 2 was coming, another rumor has popped up but with far more details surrounding the game....which is aid to appear at E3. As to the game itself, it mentions....

The rumor features gameplay details as Bloodborne vibe mixed with older PS2 classic Kuon. It is said to be pretty offensive with no shield but more balanced than Bloodborne, as weapons can be used for defensive purposes to...
…...Whole list is quite lengthily and some interesting points....add this to must see & watch list....

Re: E3 2018 - June 12th - June 14th

Seems like Fallout 76 is an online survival game.

https://kotaku.com/sources-fallout-7...Kotaku_Twitter

When Bethesda announced Fallout 76 with a teaser trailer this morning, promising more information at E3, it was easy to assume that the new game would be a traditional single-player role-playing game. But Fallout 76 is in fact an online survival RPG that’s heavily inspired by games like DayZ and Rust, according to three people familiar with the project.
Originally prototyped as a multiplayer version of Fallout 4 with the goal of envisioning what an online Fallout game might look like, Fallout 76 has evolved quite a bit over the past few years, those sources said. It will have quests and a story, like any other game from Bethesda Game Studios, a developer known for meaty RPGs like Skyrim. It will also feature base-building—just like 2015's Fallout 4—and other survival-based and multiplayer mechanics, according to those sources. One source cautioned that the gameplay is rapidly changing, like it does in many online “service” games, but that’s the core outline.
I had trouble getting in to Fallout 4, this sounds less appealing to me.

Awww booo. So it’s like the Elder Scrolls online game? Not interested in online crap. This will be the first Fallout game I don’t buy.

Re: E3 2018 - June 12th - June 14th

Well, DayZ is more SP & co-op base dealing with AI while Rust is more PvP period. I really hope Fallout 76 is not going to the PvP part. Fallout has a lot of lore & stories and stories within especially with the NPCs in Fallout 4. If they go more to the PvP part it will lose all that and be nothing more than a PvP Battle Royal that looks like Fallout.

If they go more like DayZ, they can still keep in a a Main and even side story stuff while incorporating a co-op part. I wouldn't mind a seeing where other players could mingle say like Diamond City. Or maybe take a cue from Destiny with a Public Event taking down a larger Deathclaw or some other boss or even a mini-horde defending a settlement. It could open up some intersting possiblities with other players in the mix...but No to the PvP part....
