I pre-ordered it for $23 from Amazon. Not sure if it's my type of game, but for that price I'll give it a go.

Hopefully, the single player is decent, as I have not interest in 4-player co-op with strangers.

So far so good.

No bugs or glitches. I am about 90 minutes in and liking it a lot. Resource gathering and settlement building after the tutorial. Lots of interface to learn and I like that you can assume another character in your settlement. I need to get better about logistics and finding things which I imagine will get tougher the father you venture from your settlement.

For those that pre-ordered the ultimate edition from Amazon, the special items will be available after 7 days, lots of people confused and not happy about this.

Graphics are good, lighting and terrain are good. Driving is a bit wonky as the right stick changes the view and makes it impossible to drive, just use the left stick. Dialog options are sparse but this could be because it is early in the game.

I am happy I got this and I am looking forward to playing with others in co-op mode.

Challenging game so far, tough to get established at a base, you are always out of something. Weapons break, food spoils, cars run out of gas . . . oh well guess being alive during a zombie apocalypse was not supposed to be easy :lol:

My game glitched 20 minutes in. Got a pop up that asked me if I owned this game. Then it sent me back to the dashboard. I’m playing through Gamepass and my account is current.

So far no glitches with several hours of gameplay. It certainly challenges you because every time you stock up on something, another item mysteriously goes bad or gets ruined somehow. Obnoxious way to create artificial issues. The controls are very floaty in my opinion. I hate driving. But it's still fun running around finding shit and attacking zombies. If I didn't have Gamepass, I wouldn't have a problem paying $29.99 for this game. Easily worth it.

I think I might be over the first hump, I cleared the plague hearts in my area, now to clear the infestations.

I have 4 outposts for each material although I cannot figure out how to get water. The rain barrel is a mod and I have not done the mission to get help making a still. First the infestations since they are hurting morale.

I never played the first one but it came with the ultimate edition I bought so I may try that one as well to see if I can get a better handle on what has changed.

Biggest issue so far is the vehicles. They get high centered in anything. Then you can get them off. So annoying.

Fun game and yeah buggy. But the worst part is the constant issues:

Oh ants in the food. Lose food.
I spilled the fuel. Lose fuel.
I left the meds out. Lose meds.
Shit got broken. Lose materials.

It’s like every five minutes. Annoying.

Still no bugs or game issues for me at this point.

I understand that survival is supposed to be tough and I am ok with these messages. The ones that get me are the people that call for help, I go to help them and their house has zombies in and around it. WTH? Or they get pissed and leave town because I am not fast enough, ok I am busy killing zombies what are you doing? :lol:

Another gripe. You can't climb hardly anything. If it is taller than a half fence, forget about it. You can't even climb rocks. Fucking annoying as shit.

Getting one bug consistently now, doors that look open are actually closed. Also my companion disappears after some missions and it wont let me dismiss them or choose a new one.

Still enjoying the game, the tension of trying to survive each day is real. I lost two characters and that hurt as I lost some skills I needed. I need to pay attention to the sub skills as they determine how successful your base building will be.

I have had both of those. Easiest way to fix problem 2 is to reset the game.
