What's your gamertag?

whysoblu - I'm part of the DOA clan, as well. What's hilarious is that there's a new clan that sprouted up called FDOA - haters that keep getting obliterated by us.

I'll look you up when I fire up the Xbox again. (My GT is Tuesday Weld.)

What do you think of the new maps? Egypt is alright, but Dunkirk and V2 are shit. I spawn directly in front of enemies repeatedly in every. single. game.

I just wonder how they're going to be able to scale the game to accommodate 100 players. As it is, the regular modes are going down to 5v5. I guess we'll see.

I'm on PS4 but not on Black Ops III anymore. I just do IW now.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII (yes, IIII, not IV)

So it's been confirmed that BlopsIIII will include at least FIVE remastered maps from older games. Some people are a little upset at this, calling it lazy. I, on the other hand, feel it would be awesome if they eventually give us something like 15 remastered maps, but also keep the original map count on par with previous games.

I think they might be learning from the mistake WWII made by only releasing with 9 maps.

So.... Treyarch is staying with the season pass model it seems. The wording I'm seeing is weird. It mentions 12 maps, but is that 12 bonus maps, or are they just saying the game is launching with 12 maps?

Black Ops 4 DLC to be sold exclusively in season pass

And the season pass is currently available only in the special editions

Activision is employing a different downloadable content plan for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 this year. Although the new setup is meant to provide players with a more regular cadence of DLC releases, Activision’s all-or-nothing sales strategy for the add-ons is less customer-friendly than it used to be.

In previous years, Activision offered a Call of Duty season pass that covers multiple post-launch DLC packs — four of them released over the course of a year, usually. As you’d expect, it was cheaper to purchase the season pass than to buy the add-ons individually. For instance, the season pass for 2017’s Call of Duty: WWII costs $49.99, while the DLC packs cost $14.99 each (for a total of $59.96).

This time around, Activision and developer Treyarch are offering a package called the Black Ops Pass for Black Ops 4. It will give players a “bonus Zombies experience” named Classified at launch; fans are speculating that Classified consists of a remastered version of Five, a beloved Zombies map from 2010’s Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Here’s what else is included in the Black Ops Pass:

4 Additional All-New Zombies Experiences
12 Multiplayer Maps
4 Exclusive Blackout Characters

.....the bigger problem is that Activision won’t be selling any of the Black Ops Pass content individually: You’ll have to buy all of it or none of it.

“The contents included in Black Ops Pass may only be purchased as a bundle,” the publisher said in the FAQ. In essence, Activision is forcing Black Ops 4 players to decide between two unappealing options: forking over $40 (or more) for a yearlong schedule of DLC — sight unseen — or not being able to play any of the game’s post-release content.

Losing the solo, campaign and co-op part was bad enough for me but this "Buy It or Not Use It" strategy is just arrogance on parade....they'll get their players...but so will Red Dead, Battlefield V and Assassin's Creed Odyssey all releasing the same month....
