Nope, which is really stupid. So either season pass or Sophitia statue & art book.

I just don’t get these button mashers anymore. I don’t get the appeal. I tried to get into many, but as I’ve said before, learning hundreds or whatever combos for various characters is insane to me now. I need a tad more depth I guess. But, kudos to those that enjoy and thus master these type of games...

Indeed, you "don't get it" at all. Contradicting yourself all over the place.

I too find mastering even one character in a fighter pretty arduous these days.. but maybe you should just refrain from commenting. Depth is the very LAST thing these games are lacking - not any of them.

You probably missed the thread about conducting yourself in threads, ease up there guy. You see fighting games one way, and he another; and it doesn't make him "wrong."

Sorry - citing top-tier fighting games such as SC as "lacking depth" is flat-out, objectively wrong. And making an objective point - whether or not you find that pleasant - is hardly pushing any standards of conduct.

Your attitude smacks of elitism, which is uncalled for if someone views a fighting game a different way.

You're reading too far into what was simply a strongly-worded counterpoint. If you want to talk about attitudes, frankly you come across as hypersensitive. A discussion forum doesn't need to be all backslapping and grins.

But this isn't the place and I'm done. If you feel this needs discussion, send me a PM.

When you use terms like "high tier" and call out someone for using slang that you personally wouldn't use to describe a fighting game, yes you come of as arrogant. I'm not gonna PM you because I have nothing to hide. Oh and hypersensitive? nah you just remind me of my early days posting here, I was just like you and had next to no chill for people who didn't see my point of view.

Totally uncalled for.

That is NOT an objective point. That is merely your subjective opinion. Many people don't play SC because it's lame, and that's a valid opinion; just like you think that SC it is a top-tier game, and that also is a valid opinion.

Good. One thing we can agree on. Please move on.

MOD NOTE: Anyway, I'm going to consider this matter closed. No need to discuss this further. -namja

Man, $100 seems like a high price for a Metalpack case, a soundtrack CD and a minimalist Season Pass. I might just wait for a Black Friday sale on the game and the inevitable digital sale for the Season Pass...

Yeah, and to top it off the $150 doesn't include the season pass? Follow CheapAssGamer on twitter, they usually tweet out sale prices or deals from online retailers when a game drops.

Re: Soul Calibur VI (2018 PS4, XB1, Steam)

Even though I didn't get that into SCV, and despite my blood oath to not buy a fighting game before the inevitable edition that includes all the DLC, I'm fighting the itch to pick this one up now. Mostly, of course, for the character creation feature:

This one is supposed to specifically address disappointing aspects of SCV.

Anyone who does pick it up and is in a position to compare it to Tek 7, please chime in.

So don't

Nah, you can make it 'til the Black Friday sales. Maybe the Nier bot will be in it by then.

I held out for $40 on BF with Tekken last year, and they've been pretty firm with pricing ever since. Might be a safe pattern to follow with this one.
