New Game Plus and Ultimate difficulty coming tomorrow (with new trophies for each).
"The Heist" DLC drops tomorrow as well, including new enemy types, new crimes, new challenges, new trophies, and 3 new suits:
It sounds like the 3 chunks of DLC aren't standalone episodes but chapters in a connected story, which I wasn't expecting.

We are also thrilled to announce the release of Update 1.07* tomorrow, 17th October, for Marvel’s Spider-Man owners around the world. While the team here has been working hard on the Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps DLC and its first chapter, Marvel’s Spider-Man: The Heist, we’ve also been working on free updates for the game that adds new features and fixes a few bug issues.
Update 1.07 is one we’ve been working on for a while now, and adds New Game+ (NG+) as well as Ultimate Difficulty to the game. NG+ allows you to play the story and all activities in the open world again with all of your unlocked suits, skills, gadgets, mods, and benchmarks from the beginning. While playing NG+, you’ll be able to unlock those final items while cleaning up your trophy list!
Speaking of that, we’re adding two new trophies as well – one for completing the game on Ultimate Difficulty, and the other for finishing a NG+ run!
Additionally, many of you have requested the ability to rotate Stickers in Photo Mode, and we’re pleased to let you know that’s included, along with a few additional bug fixes, in Update 1.07.We’ve also tuned Friendly Difficulty based on your feedback to be more friendly.
You can download the update for free tomorrow! We hope you enjoy NG+, and get a head-start on earning those new trophies ahead of Marvel’s Spider-Man: The Heist, coming next week! I've been waiting for the DLC to hit in hopes that some of the missions land in the areas that I still need to clean up in. I hate waiting around waiting for those events to trigger.

If you don't have all the secret photo ops, you can swing around looking for those and do the crimes as they pop up.

Will NG+ make it easier to finish the Taskmaster challenges? Lol! Getting top tier on most of them is difficult at least for me. It would be nice to fully upgrade all the gadgets. I did plat the game though so I guess I really don’t need them.

I don't think NG+ would make those challenges easier, but I'm guessing it would reset them which means you could get more challenge tokens on the easier levels and use those to upgrade your gadgets.
Looks like NG+ is delayed. Hope the DLC doesn't get delayed too...I was hoping to knock that out before RDR2.

Finally finished the story. I've been playing only sporatically, but I loved the game.
As a long time fan of St Elsewhere, I couldn't help but notice how much Aunt May looks like 1980s Christina Pickles. I showed my son and he agrees it's like a perfect copy of her.

I really suck at the Drone and Bomb challenges. I'm happy to hear that I don't have to get Gold for every single challenge to get the Platinum.
