I finally tried out WWE 2K16 last night on XB1, since I guess it was a freebie at some point, and the controller difficulty curve was more than I was looking for. These games used to be so much fun and simple to pick up and play, now they just seem over complicated unless you take out a good chunk of time to learn.

I really miss the N64 WWF games :(

Given the limitations of the system I wouldn't mind a throwback, more No Mercy-like game, especially returning to Nintendo. But we'll probably just get a greatly pared down version of the other games.

2K17 came out for X360 & PS3. Assuming they do that this year as well, you can expect a port of that version. But yeah, I would love a No Mercy / Wrestlemania style game instead.

I've been wishing this since the last Wrestlmania game on N64. Every wrestling game since hasn't compared to the simple controls of those games

The WWE 2K18 Deluxe Edition video game, featuring Access to WWE 2K18 Season Pass.

Playable versions of Batista and Rob Van Dam, two of John Cena’s legendary rivals.

Playable versions of Cena recreating his appearances at ECW One Night Stand 2006 and WrestleMania XXVI.

Access to the Kurt Angle Pack, which includes two playable versions of The Olympic Hero.

Exclusive premium packaging that includes a unique cover sleeve, which will delight both Cena’s fans and his detractors.

An exclusive Mattel action figure featuring John Cena with Cena/Cena Nuff T-shirt options.

A Fanatics limited-edition commemorative plaque that includes a piece of the ring mat from Cena’s historic 16th World Title triumph at Royal Rumble 2017, as well as a hand-signed photo from The Cenation Leader himself.

Limited edition WWE SuperCard in-game cards decorated with Cena (Nuff) card backs that feature Cena, Batista and Rob Van Dam.

Only 30,000 copies of the WWE 2K18 Cena (Nuff) Edition will be available at participating retails later this year.

I give 2K credit for at least making an attempt rather than just ignoring Switch owners. I don't count on it being the best version of the game but hopefully it's at least decent.
