Crackdown 3 plays much better than it looks

re: Crackdown 3 - Feb. 2019 (until the next delay, anyway)
Good, because it looks ugly. That's a shame but not a deal breaker.

re: Crackdown 3 - Feb. 2019 (until the next delay, anyway)
And that was on the Xbox One X. Imagine what it's going to look like on my ghetto XB1

re: Crackdown 3 - Feb. 2019 (until the next delay, anyway)
The first game in the series was the only reason i bought a 360 (and running through 3 of them withe red lights of death i gave up on MS consoles). I still have a copy and one day will get a system to play it on. This is the one game that makes me even consider an X-Box One.

CRACKDOWN 3 DELAYED TO 2018
Microsoft Studios Publishing general manager Shannon Loftis confirmed the delay via a tweet after telling Polygon that the game has been pushed to give more time to developers Reagent Games, Sumo Digital, and Cloudgine. Loftis told Polygon: "...We want to make sure to deliver the right game, with the right quality, and at the right time, Crackdown 3 is a hugely ambitious game and we want to ensure we deliver the right experiences all the way through every part of the game, whether that’s campaign, co-op multiplayer or our competitive multiplayer mode, Wrecking Zone. Getting the balance right between the three modes is important, and we are going to take the extra development time to ensure that. Gamers can expect Crackdown 3 in Spring of 2018.” http://www.ign.com/articles/2017/08/...elayed-to-2018 |
re: Crackdown 3 - Feb. 2019 (until the next delay, anyway)
Eh I had forgotten about it anyway.

re: Crackdown 3 - Feb. 2019 (until the next delay, anyway)
Delayed again or just placeholder for unknown date?
We have received new release date information related to your pre-ordered video game in the order you placed on January 20, 2018 (Order#XXXXXXXXXXXXXXZ). The release date for the video game listed below has been changed by the publisher, and we want to provide you with a new delivery estimate based on the new release date: "Crackdown 3 - Standard Edition - Xbox One" Estimated arrival date: December 31, 2018 |
re: Crackdown 3 - Feb. 2019 (until the next delay, anyway)
Dec 31st is a pretty common placeholder date, games rarely get released on Mondays.
|
re: Crackdown 3 - Feb. 2019 (until the next delay, anyway)
Yeah I know that is their typical placeholder date, but this had March release date previously.
|
re: Crackdown 3 - Feb. 2019 (until the next delay, anyway)
If it was coming in March, we would know by now. Summer would be the earliest in reality assuming they want to market this game. Unless they have zero faith in it and just drop it to get it out.

re: Crackdown 3 - Feb. 2019 (until the next delay, anyway)
Some Italy site is reporting April 30th
|
re: Crackdown 3 - Feb. 2019 (until the next delay, anyway)
April 30th is a Monday. So that wouldn't be the release date here.

This thing is a mess
Just scrap it and move on to something else |
re: Crackdown 3 - Feb. 2019 (until the next delay, anyway)

I do. Mostly because it was one of the main reason I got over a year of Game Pass while it was $5/mo back in February.
Exactly the reason why I did it. |

Cancel it.

re: Crackdown 3 - Feb. 2019 (until the next delay, anyway)
This game better be fuckin amazing at this point. And I hope this further encourages publishers from announcing games so far in advance.
|
re: Crackdown 3 - Feb. 2019 (until the next delay, anyway)
Microsoft/Phil Spencer has admitted in the past that they regret announcing all these games so early (Fable Legends, Scalebound). It'll be interesting how they spin this at E3.

re: Crackdown 3 - Feb. 2019 (until the next delay, anyway)
So if this doesn't come out this year, their only Retail exclusive for the second half of 2018 would be Forza Horizon 4?
|
re: Crackdown 3 - Feb. 2019 (until the next delay, anyway)
Officially delayed until February 2019. The same month that Sony's Days Gone launches. They just can't catch a break
