You simply aren't going to get a AAA single player experience out of this game. If it's anything more than MP with bots I'd be very surprised.

If you want a single-player slasher game, check out Until Dawn.

The single player is supposed to be you as Jason with objectives. Sounds like something you might do a time or two and then that is it.

I don't expect anything groundbreaking. I'm just hoping for a fun storyline mode with the surroundings of the Friday the 13th franchise which I've been a fan of for a while. Ideally this would be a bit cheaper so that it would be easier to justify as I don't see myself playing a ton of multiplayer. At least it's not a full $60 which is the standard but $25 or $30 would be more appealing to me.

I absolutely love this game. Sure it still has some glitches but I haven't laughed playing a game they way I do with F13. For those waiting to buy the game for single player I wouldn't buy it at all. This game was intended to me a MP game the campaign is more of an afterthought.

Played several games last night and had a blast. I agree with Larry, i laughed my ass off, listening to everyone freak out when Jason shows up. People driving the car backwards to get away from him was a highlight. I played one match as Jason as killed 4/7 and it was great.

Man I was picked to be Jason in a game tonight and had killed 6/7 grabbed the final survivor and just before the kill we all lagged out.

Then couple of matches later got in the 4 door and made 4 laps around the map picking up teammates and we all lived!!!

The game is a freaking blast!

Well was finally able to get into some games. This game has a lot of douche bags. One guy got the car started and when I went to get in it, intentionally ran me over. The next game I got to the car, a guy was attacked by Jason, I saved him, we got back in the car, Jason came again and killed him. I drove away in the car and I had to spend the next ten minutes listening to someone complain about how I was a cheater, and he was going to get me banned, and that he was writing down my gamer tag and telling me to enjoy the points because I'll be banned soon. And I couldn't stop laughing about how stupid this guy was being.

I was at Walmart Friday night and noticed that the retail version came out (10/13/17) for $39.99. I went to check Best Buy (since I have GCU), but they didn't get any in the store so I had to order it (Xbox One).

I read there was a update with bug fixes, a new map/area, and new counselor. Is anyone still playing this?

I still play it. With the right group, it's an absolute blast. Yes, it's repetitive. Either look for parts and try to escape as a counsellor, or hack and slash if you're Jason. But there's something about it that gets me coming back. The sheer thrill of adrenaline you get as you and your buddies finally fix the car and try to drive off while Jason is chasing you with the crazy 80s slasher music playing is a hoot.

I still play this almost daily. Yeah it's extremely repetitive and the connection bugs are a huge pain in the ass. I'm just a huge horror fan and love 85% of the F13 series.

We have been playing quick private matches and rotating who is Jason. Working towards some of those long achievements:

1000 matches as Jason
1000 matches as a counselor
1313 counselors killed
