Hey all. Haven't been on this forum for a very long time but I'm hoping there are casual players here that want to get together to player. I forgot how much I love playing on XBOX Live and how much I hate hardcore players. If you want to group up for some games please add me.

Finished up the campaign today and absolutely loved. This was one of the best campaigns I’ve played in a while. Call me crazy but I thought it was far better than Battlefield 1. I just love the older wars aspect and not all

I hate to say this as I'm one to complain when a game series doesn't take new directions but.....I don't see a need for a headquarters now and not just because it's broken.
I would much prefer just a standard menu with some pop-ups for everything you need or your own little private headquarters (very small) to add a bit of ambiance to the experience.
These full on multi-user lobbies are completely unnecessary and obviously bog the game down. I'm also betting WWII's headquarters will not be fixed for a long time to come.

Already sick of this game - too many bugs and lags out way too much. Probably going to trade it in.
Some of these big budget developer titles get worse and worse every year.

It looks like loot boxes went live today. You can spend anywhere from $2 to $100. Yuck.
I'm still waiting for my copy to arrive at the library. I at least want to run through the single player campaign.

I haven't touched my copy since the day after release. I think this will be my last CoD or MW game for a long time.

Re: Call of Duty: WWII (11/3/17; PC/PS4/XB1)
Finished this over the weekend on the hardened difficulty. I thought the game looked great. Easily the best looking and most polished CoD to date. I also liked how they tried to make a more personal campaign, it reminded me a lot of Band of Brothers. I also thought that having your allies have different perks you could call on during missions was an interesting idea that probably could use some work if they intend to use it going forward. Now to the negatives. Didn't like the weapons. I get it that they have to be realistic to that time period, but none of the guns were fun to shoot. They just were there to serve a purpose, but that's it. After playing years of different Warfare and Black Ops games, going back to those weapons seemed like a huge step back. Also, health packs. Jesus, why the hell did they go back to those. Overall I thought the hardened difficulty seemed perfect to play on, but the health packs (or lack of) made some of the sections a real pain in the ass. Lastly the stealth sections were terrible. They weren't necessarily difficult, just not fun to play though. And it seemed like they popped up every other mission or so for small segments. I still have to check out the Zombies mode, but after that this sucker is going back to the library.

I haven't played a COD game in years. I think the last one was World At War. I just couldn't get into all the new fangled modern ones. That being said, I've been playing video games for close to 30 years and I fucking suck at this game. Also apparently I'm a moron who didn't know that when you prestige, you lose everything. I played the whole time to get the Thompson and the Bar only to lose the things right away.

After finishing the BATTLEFIELD 1 campaign today, I totally agree. The campaign was so so (DICE doesn't know how to produce good/great campaigns, IMHO). WW II is great (which I completed last week).

I just have to say Leprechaun Hunt is some of the most fun I've had in recent Call of Duty's. I hope they keep some form of the mode around in the future.

Glad I held onto this game, it has improved greatly.
Just out of curiosity - I will never buy COD points as they are way, way, way too expensive (can't believe people pay for that shit) but, do the heroic and other good guns you can purchase/get from collections give you and advantage at all? If so, I think that's bullshit for those of use who don't want to pay.

The only advantage I can think of is some of the variants have better iron sights and increased XP. Other than that the stats are exactly the same, unlike Advanced Warfare's variants.
All DLC guns are also earnable by playing, like my new favorite, the Volkstrumgewer.

Re: Call of Duty: WWII (11/3/17; PC/PS4/XB1)
Finished the single player campaign last night (on hardened difficulty) to knock a game off my backlog. It was fun, but it felt like Saving Private Ryan the Game. Some of these missions were pulled straight from the movie.
Played a couple matches of multiplayer afterwards. I held my own, but got bored quickly. I used to play a ton of CoD multiplayer when I was in my 20's, but MP in general has lost my interest as I've gotten into my early 30's.
