Actually, no.
Seems like it's just some shrines, trials, armor, a bike and other random stuff. Nothing new on the main world map or anything substantial. For $20 (a third of the price of the main game), that's a pittance of content.
I didn't have a choice in buying it, as I already bought it thinking it would be solid content, like new places to explore, and not just some trials and shit. Classic bait & switch - I expected better from Nintendo DLC.

I thought the $20 was mostly worth it for the map tracking stuff that was in the first DLC.
The quests added here seem decent enough to me; Kotaku just put up a write up of what the "Ballad" quests actually entail. https://kotaku.com/what-to-expect-fr...lla-1821122931

Does Nintendo DLC ever go on sale? I know they used to have like an early adopter's discount, but seeing as how their eshop sales stink in general I can't remember ever being able to buy their DLC at a discount. Heck, I think there are still some 3DS Fire Emblem maps I refused to buy.

I'm having trouble finding food, I ate everything and I'm down a quarter of a heart. I'm getting Obi-Wan his bribe.

I FINALLY started playing this a couple weeks ago after having it sitting on my shelf for years. OMG I've put so many dozens of hours in to this game already in just a couple weeks. It's pretty amazing, overwhelming, beautiful, overwhelming, incredibly detailed, overwhelming.
I've "beat" two of the divine beasts and pulled out the master sword. It's amazing to me that this game is still generating a lot of youtube content even now. I was surprised how many videos were still being produced.

I finally went back to this after abandoning the Wii U version. Kinda glad I'm starting over as I dont remember half the stuff this game has. Amazing game. Gonna take my sweet time with this one

I tried doing a test of strength shrine. It was a shrine on its own island. Got my ass handed to me
I'm at 5 hearts. im guessing i should come back to it when i have a bigger number of hearts?

I know which one you're talking about. I regrettably had to give up, the only shrine I had to so far. I forgot about it until recently then came back and beat it with ease. You can also cook a bunch of food to get temporary hearts and boosts. Try mighty bananas for an attack boost and Hearty Durian for a temporary heart boost.

Finally beat the game the other day after putting in about 175 hours in to it. Great game. I think the weakest parts were the boses, or lack thereof, and the dungeons, also lack thereof. Smoky snake ganon was pretty disappointing. Didn't really put up any of a challenge. The bosses in this game lacked any kind of design really. They were like Michael Bay transformers. Other than that the game was incredible. It was really easy to get wrapped up in Hyrule and was incredibly fun just exploring. In a lot of ways I'm glad the game wasn't too challenging. It was great just having these quick little puzzles to do and move on to the next one.
