Re: What Are You Playing? (January 2017)

Been travelling for the last 2 weeks, so back to Final Fantasy XV where I last left off. And Overwatch sprinkled in there for multiplayer.

Re: What Are You Playing? (January 2017)

I'm trying to get into FFXV, but it just feels like the worst aspects of the Western RPG (grinding in a rather lifeless open world) mixed with some Eastern RPG quirk. Keep falling asleep.

Re: What Are You Playing? (January 2017)

X1:
Gems of War (finally finished the title update and have 12 levels to go until I get to level 100 and that will 100% it)
Plants vs Zombies GW 2 (just finished the story quests on both sides, so I'm cleaning up achievements and grinding out some levels/kills)
Batman Telltale Series (just started episode 4)

That's pretty much it for now.

I'm addicted to Battlefield One MP on the XB1. Anyone else playing this?

Just abandoned The Last Guardian which was just awful. Made it to the halfway point I think.

Restarting The Order 1886. Had started it a few months ago when I bought it on sale but got distracted, so starting over and giving it another shot.

Another one here playing through The Order: 1886 thanks to the PSN sale. Looks great, interesting world, some overall neat ideas, but good god I think literally over 90% of my playtime so far is either a cutscene or me slowly walking down an alley on my way to one.

Yeah, my biggest issue is just the overall pace of the game. The action/combat is decent, but so far there's so little of it and so much slow walking around very linear locations.

If it was more of a Gears of War type action pace it could be great.

Re: What Are You Playing? (January 2017)

Finished Batman: Telltale series, Finished Gems of War (200 freaking hours worth). Not sure what to jump on next. I guess I could take Plants vs Zombies GW 2 as far as I can, but it's a game better enjoyed in 20-30 minute spots when I have nothing else to play than a game that you focus solely on.

I might start X-Com 2, might start Alice: Madness Returns, heck might pick up Skyrim again, not sure.

Re: What Are You Playing? (January 2017)

Just abandoned Yakuza 0. It wasn't what I was expecting. It's basically a slow paced RPG with beat em up elements and PS3 level graphics.
