Glittermitten Grove (Steam, out now!)

http://store.steampowered.com/app/536890/

ABOUT THIS GAME

Ahoy, a-hey, o loddi-doddi day, fair traveller and welcome to Glittermitten Grove! Here you will find a land of enchantment, whimsy, and resource management. Sow the fields with magic seeds, pick berries from the plentiful boughs of our sugar fern trees, and collect sparkles from the resplendent rays of our sun-kissed thicket to help us prepare for the long winter ahead. Come join us in our faerieland, full of strange adventure!

Features:
Sow the fields with special seeds
Pick berries for your winter needs
Collect sparkles to light up the night
Light fribblesham fireworks for happy delight
I'm hearing from others that this game is pretty good and actually goes a bit deeper than you'd expect. I'm going to give it a shot when I'm back from Christmas vacation, but has anyone heard about this yet?

Something about faeries using fireworks has me intrigued. Watch your butts!

Re: Glittermitten Grove (Steam, out now!)

So, I binge-played the shit out of this game yesterday and today. Some parts of it ended up being way tougher than I imagined, but I managed to complete it (as much as you can "complete" a game like this...)

As my first game played in 2017, I give it / 5
It's not for everyone, but it brings some good challenges along the way.

A couple spoilery tips/thoughts:
Spoiler:
type 'butts' to skip the faerie stuff entirely. Or use fireworks to blow up the ground until you find the door.

Glad at least one person knew what was up with this. Curious to see how many others around here are aware of it. For those reading, maybe start with Frog Fractions. It's free, and shouldn't take more than a couple hours: http://twinbeard.com/frog-fractions/ pro-tip:
Spoiler:
Get the turtle. Go down. Get the dragon. Then warp. The rest is on you.

TXT World is the main hub, and the minigames are fun and weird and some actually take some real skill.
The collectibles (purple symbols) are a nice touch. I have a few more to find, actually.
The Korn-themed stories are strange shit.
Brush up on Dante's Inferno.
SPAXRIS is pretty damn funny.
Shaving Story (aka Obama Shaving Simulator) had me laughing my ass off for some dumb reason.
End game:
Spoiler:
The conversation sequence, with the frog, was HARD. It takes a lot of work to get it right.
Tip: write down the meaning of the symbols as you figure them out.
Post-end-game
Spoiler:
The game is credited as "Frog Fractions 3" which must mean that the whole ARG leading up to it was, itself, Frog Fractions 2? Must be.
After the game really ends, you're left at a screen where you can select music and sound effects. Is this really the end?! Fuck, there could be more.
