Re: Your most fun game experience?
Had some fun times and made some great friends playing World of Warcraft back in vanilla to lich king era.
Now i'm having fun playing Overwatch with my oldest daughter.
Back in the day, i'd had lan parties with my wife and friends playing Starcraft or Warcraft 2 or 3 on a pieced together set up of old hand me down Macintoshes networked together with phone cords. some fun games and I usually won

i'm playing DmC on One and it is just fantastic. so much fun and so gorgeous to look at. also, put Assassin's Creed: Odyssey on list with new DOOM and Wolfenstein: The New Colossus as just pure fun, mindless games.

Quake 3 Arena, InstaGib CTF (aka iCTF). So much fun.
A close second is probably Team Fortress, the original add-on.

Three of my favorites...
Finally beating Tyson in Punch-Out
In college...(I'm old) drawing teams out of a hat with my roomates to see what team we would get to play through the season on Tecmo Super Bowl III
In college...again...coming home from the bars at 2am ordering godfathers pepperoni pizza and playing Mario Kart till the sun came up.
Good times.

Two The Legend of Zelda games come to mind: The Minish Cap and Skyward Sword we’re both amazing to play through!
And close behind them was Wind Waker.
But THE MOST fun I’ve had playing a game has to be the original Luigi’s Mansion on the GameCube. Wow, what a rush!

NFL 2K5 with my friend over the Xbox live or whatever it was called. We had some killer matches.

I’ll second a few of the experiences mentioned by others, and add a new game or two.
For multiplayer and overall best times, nothing will top the home and work LAN parties we had back in the 90s. Doom, Total Annihilation, Duke Nukem, Serious Sam, Delta Force, Unreal Tournament were the biggies off the top of my head. Later multiplayer on the Xbox, friends and I spent a ton of time on Gears of War and some Baldur’s Gate (I think) co-op game.
On single player gaming, I’ll second that Oids on the Atari ST was a blast to play. Beating Halo on legendary was a fun challenge. But for overall single player favorite times I’d have to go with the zillion hours I’ve spent playing the Heroes of Might and Magic series, mostly part 3. Playing that right now actually, don’t think I’ve gone more than a couple months without loading it up since the late 1990s when it was released.

I haven't played a video game in years, so mine are all from the old days.
-Alien vs. Predator for the Jaguar was easily the scariest game I have played - and one of the most involving. In the '90s I played games on an old Sharp XV-H37U projector with a 120" screen and surround sound, and every Alien shriek from behind was pants-crapping-worthy.-An obscure N64 game called Body Harvest was one of the most immersive games I have ever played, at least in the great Java stage. The other stages varied from terribly half-baked to decent.
-Turok, also on the N64.
-Rayman, for the Jaguar, was also endless fun.
-Going way back, Lode Runner for the C64 was just endlessly enjoyable, if frustrating.

You guys are lucky you still have your Jags. It wasn't a great system by any means, but it did have a few gems.
