Your most fun game experience?
What game have you played in your lifetime that you just had the most fun playing?
Not necessarily favorite game or best game, but one where you just had a blast always playing...
Red Dead Redemption...this one was just a totally immersive game that I had a blast doing even the most mundane thing, like picking up fucking flowers!

One night in college I got really bored, ordered a pizza and played Flashback from beginning to end. I had a blast with that, and finished it as the sun was coming up.

The most fun game experiences I've had were probably old school PC LAN parties that I had with my friends and playing games like Quake, Unreal Tournament, or Warcraft 3 all night in to the wee hours of the morning.
Having everything online these days is great, but loses a bit of the experience of the old days.

Burnout Paradise
Those online group achievements were so much fun. I remember we tried to get a bunch of cars on the ledge of some building downtown. Every time we got close to completing it, the last car would knock everyone else off.
I wish they'd released more expansion packs. I could have played that game forever.

World of Warcraft: Being in a pretty good guild working out raids was a great time.
Rock Band & Rocksmith: Rocking out while consuming copious amounts of beer. I still play Rocksmith 5-10 hours a week.

Rock Band by far. There's not even a close second. There was a time when Rock Band parties were a regular thing at my house. Just drinking and smoking and Rock Band for hours and hours. Best party game ever. Good times.

That is up there on my list and a total riot.....a true laugh fest....whacking zombies with pipes, frying pans, bats, guitars,...what ahoot
The first Borderlands....something totally new, off the wall and fun co-op with just laughable characters and the "Millions of Guns"....
Gears of War Horde Mode....I don't think to this day there has been anything like it..intense, edgy and but a blast. With the varying executions from chainsawing one in half to the foot stomp on the head...that never got old and tiring
Halo...the first and second one on the original Xbox with the various mods you could play in MP like Rocket Area in a tight map but my all-time favorite was Fight Club. Nothing more fun and funny than watching 6-8 Spartans just stand around and smack each other with no guns vying for King of the Hill.

A few games come to mind.
1. The first day I got my first real home computer (Sinclair Spectrum) and playing the Ultimate games, Way of the Exploding Fist and Skool Daze on my first day.
2. Oids on the Atari St. Great game, and the level designer was awesome.
3. Unreal Tournament. When it came out I was working at a games company in the UK and we used to play this every single day at work for maybe 3-4 hours each day with about 30 of us at a time on the local LAN. It was seriously great.
4. Playing Counter Strike Source on the PC.
5. Skyrim. Might be buggy, but simply an awesome game.
6. Just Cause 2. Superb game and amazing sandbox that allows you to fuck around a lot.

Just Cause 2
Though not for the first few hours - but after I got the hang of the controls and how it's world/sandbox works, I had a fucking blast.

+1 for Rock Band. Used to go to a friend's weekly Rock Band party back during it's heyday, 2010-2011. Usually have about 10 people show up and we'd rotate instruments every few songs, and take drink/food breaks. Fun times.

Solo: Ms. Pac-man
Any time, anywhere. Always a good time. My goal is to get a cocktail table sometime in the next few years.
Multiplayer: N64
Nothing beats couch MP and the N64 had it in spades with its library. Friends would hang and play at all hours of the night. Good times.

We had Halo LAN parties in college. Nothing like having 16 people on 4 different Xboxes spread throughout a house. Throw some alcohol in there and you get some memorable nights.
As far as single player, probably GTA 3.

Re: Your most fun game experience?
Getting drunk and playing WWE games with a friend of mine on his PS2. That was a lot of fun. Partially...mostly because of the drinking.
GTA V with my crew on PS3. Lots of fun in the early days of GTA Online. Ended sadly due to Rockstar's extremely slow release of heists.
Destiny with the Daggers. Some of the most fun....and frustration I've ever felt playing a game. Perhaps I should add drinking to this. Then again killer already did that for us a few times.

Super Tecmo Bowl with my best friend during high school / college. We'd play where you had to take a shot if the other person scored.

Re: Your most fun game experience?
I really enjoyed World of Warcraft when it first came out. It was my first experience playing an online game of any kind, and my friend at work got me into it and subsequently his clan. It was great always having friendly players online to work through long quests and such.
As far as a single player game, GTAIII was like nothing I had ever played before at the time. The ability to just run wild in a sandbox game really kept me coming back to it.

Probably the first Borderlands. I had a blast each and every time I played through it. Other games have been a lot of fun, but I think that one takes the cake.

GuitarHero and Rockband parties.
In the early days of WW2online we'd have multiple squads team up on operations. You'd end up with 100s of people involved in an attack. The game looked like ass but the experience transcended the limitations.
