I'm sure it will be somewhat revised. Look for new packaging, maybe an $80 pricepoint with two controllers to match the SNES Classic, and 5' controller cords as well.

At the end of the day, that's all they wanted. I bet they only had a few dozen of these, it was just a bait to have people download the app. It's kinda funny that it's backfiring on them now, since a ton of people are leaving one star reviews on on the app marketplace.

Nintendo seemed to have done better with the SNES Classic release, with more available at launch, and keeping a reasonable stream of them to stores going. It was never readily available online, but if you looked in B&M stores you could find it after a bit of looking.
I don't know how the continued availability of the SNES will affect their production of the NES Classic. Either they've increased production to accommodate both, or split their current production between the two.

You still can't find SNES classics even right now by just walking into a Target or Best Buy on any given day. Whenever they do get them, they're gone within hours.
I wonder how demand will be for the NES classic considering how much time as passed.
I seriously don't know if I can get one...not because of money, but I'm practically out of HDMI slots.

I'm just saying that here in So. Cal, I've walked into Best Buy and Target a few times post-purchase and have yet to see them readily available.
