Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only like the Welcome Package. Also remember that any preliminary codes are just that and BN could pull it, change the details or exclusions anything prior to release so always a bit of YMMV until the final release date

Any word on when pre-orders will start? I'm wondering if there will be shortages when its released.
Also, will the games be pillarbox on HDTVs?

Poor Sega. They released a Genesis version of this exact thing a couple years ago which came with two controllers (both a wired and wireless versions), more games (80) and cartridge support for less money ($40) and nobody cared.
The more I think about this mini NES, the more I realize Nintendo is shooting themselves in the foot. There are so many classic games that could be leveraged via expansion or a larger initial library and charge more... but instead we get 30 and the only way to get, say, 60 or 120 or 240 games is to buy another mini NES that may or may not ever exist? Dumb. I'd love to see NES wrestling, track and field, etc and would gladly pay double for this system if it was all inclusive.

I'm not really interested in this, as I've bought most of the included games on the virtual console over the years and played them as much as I'd want to. That said, I've had a lot of non-gamer friends send me links to it and gush about how they're buying one. It's definitely hitting a nostalgia sweet spot for a lot of people.

I'm 100% down for this. Will probably just be worth it to take on trips and play at my Mother in Law's house. And kill it at Double Dragon / SMB 3 / Kirby / Excitebike / Tecmo Bowl.

But that's a random aside. Just seems like it's a basic announcement, with pre-orders to follow. Speaking of which, was this announced via basic press release? I guess E3 is about "new new new" so maybe that's why it wasn't announced then.

This is cute and if they did an SNES version I'd probably get it, even though I own an original SNES and carts for it.
But yeah, it seems like people who want a larger selection and to be able to curate their own selection are better off getting a used Wii, probably for less money.

I think this is pretty cool and hope that an SNES version is in the works. The only thing I wish they would have done was used the updated rounded NES controllers. They were so much more comfortable than the rectangle ones.
