I've been thinking about this and may go for it. It's been listed for a $50 preorder at Amazon forever and I may preorder to keep that price, thinking it could easily pop up to that basic $60 soon. Then again, Borderlands 3 is already down to $45 and I've been waiting there. I dunno. Good reads on those articles, though.

I was just thinking about passing on this as I haven't really even started Borderlands yet, but I need to roll my Best Buy BL3 $10 credit into something(plus i need to take advantage of my last few months of GCU). Then get another $10 for Jedi and roll that into Cyberpunk.

i think it means it's final and the physical discs have started production...

When you see something about a game...."has gone gold"...it's a simple reference that the game is basically done and finished and gone out to be put on disc. They'll still work on a game and hence why we sometime see a good size day one patch.


And add another positive Preview into the mix from IGN.....https://www.ign.com/articles/2019/10...-final-preview …..so far from what I've read into these previews, they are surprised byt the amount depth the game has to offer even with just a 3 hour demo...basically all saying the game has a lot more to offer than originally thought.

i think someone posts a link and the article in almost every game thread in this forum when a game is final and thus goes gold and into production for sell date...

What kind of spoilers could be so bad in a trial of a game out in a few days?

Going to wait close to BF to grab this....I decided to re-start The Last of Us since I never finished last playing it 2-3 years ago and that game could stand up to any and everything recently....for a remaster from PS3 it looks darn good....

I will wait to buy it until I see some reviews. I feel pretty confident that the game will be great but I will never again buy a digital game (or a physical game and open it) without first reading some reviews. I can still get my Preorder bonus from Best Buy and keep the game if it turns out to be good. With a review embargo (and this EA Access stonewall), I am not going to risk it. It could all be nothing but EA is being a little too guarded for me to trust them.
