I thought it was pretty cool and the secret reveal was absolutely terrifying. I don’t think they really wanted to or needed Cal to fight said reveal, but the cameo was pretty cool.

They've made the pre order bonuses free for everyone. Just have to log in to get them.

I hate to constantly bash this game because it's not nearly as bad as I'm bitching about... but those are weak pre-order bonuses. And while I'm nagging, why must I fight angry lizard creatures, plants to explode gaseous fumes and robot samurai who seem to have very, very little to do with the SW universe? I feel like I'm playing a 2019 version of Super Star Wars --- but less forgiving.

Super SW was one of my favorite games from the 16bit generation. If I hadn't already played through this, your description would have me running out and buying it asap.

Nothing makes you feel like a badass Jedi like slaying space slugs, bouncing off plants and swinging from vines.

i'm a bit confused about how to play this game.
how can u check how many stimpacks u have left?
where is the experience bar?
if u rest and kill the enemies again then do u get xp for it?

I don't know, I haven't played enough to need to use one.
I can't remember, I haven't played it in a couple months.
Yes! That I do know, yes!

Stimpacks are in the bottom left of the gameplay screen. Isn't the XP bar at the top center of the screen?

Oh man, if you can’t find those, give up now. That map will drive you to lunacy...

You can get stimpaks or refill, up to 3, which is what you start with, I think, but you got to find special places to upgrade the stimpaks # with BB. Those are not easy to find...

It's BD, but yeah, you find upgrades so you can carry more.

I gave up on this. I think I got to the Wookie planet and stopped.

I've given up too... I hope to finish someday but this game is a repetitive bore.

Ha! Exactly the same here.
I might go back, but figuring out where to go and the backtracking is a real pain in the ass.

Re: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (11/15/2019: PC, PS4, XB1)

As frustrating as a lot of parts were, they did get a lot right and I think that overweighted bad. At no point did I want to give up or move on and that is saying a lot with my attention span lately. I’ve given up, only for now, some really fun and great games like AC: Odyssey, Rage 2, RE2, Outer Worlds. I was having fun, but got sidetracked. This I was urging to finish, in a good way. It was wholly satisfying, but also frustrating and maddening at parts. It wasn’t the enemies, it was the traversing of landscapes and that fucking map. But, it was a very good Star Wars game and they can only improve on another installment in this franchise...

I think the game was a chore to get through but Oldboy isn't alone. I don't follow any review sites anymore but seems like it got nothing but praise. If any of these sites can't objectively review such a flawed game and just slap a 9/10 on it, then I'm not missing anything by skipping reviews these days.

I felt like the enemies were mostly uninspiring... but yeah, that map. How does that get thru the entire team's QC (or merely the idea that you should have to back-track to complete a level)?

Yeah I was psyched for it. But the map and the stupid fights against plants and other dumb monsters drove me crazy. Plus the lame system of losing experience. I sold my copy.

Today's patch fixed the Legendary Beasts bug, in case anyone out there other than me was affected by it. The achievement popped for me as soon as I used a meditation point.

I could see back-tracking being fun if you had things like the boulder chasing Indy in Raiders of the Lost Ark, but otherwise, just have the ship come and pick you up once you have the MacGuffin for each level in hand.

when he forces pulls it to him, i think hit lightly on force pull to push back and it will stop where you need it to...
