No, you don't get to battle in the arena until you hit that mark, but you still get chests and unlocks starting at about 100 points below that. I've been bouncing between 1600 and 1700 all day today (currently sitting at 1712), but have been at the builder's workshop the whole time.

Alright, I think I'm going to go on strike until I get a legendary card. I'm getting killed with those cards now. I'll open the remaining chests I have and then just open the free ones. Maybe they will see the lack of playing and give me one to lure me back in ;)

I have Skeleton army Lv 2
Barbarian Lv 8 Hog Rider Lv 5 Minion horde Lv 8 Fireball Lv 5 Witch Lv 2 Rage Lv 2 Prince Lv 2 Sometimes I switch out the witch for goblin hut balloon. I have most of the cards, just no legendary, and don't have a few others. Just got freeze but don't use it much. It seems like every guy I face has a mirror and freeze. I faced someone with the flying lava hound thing the other day. Every time he dropped it, he did a crying emote then laughed. I spammed him crying and thumbs up when I beat him. Oh and I hate it when people say "oops" when they destroy a tower. |

seems like a solid team.
do you ever have a problem hitting the other teams minion horde with your fireball? Ive been sticking to the arrows just for this reason recently it seems like i'm getting beat by guys who spam bomb towers and cannons. |

I fell a couple hundred points all the way back to the PENKA stage. the fun part of having a low score is getting matched up with people who havent hit the higher stages yet so i can destroy them with the level 2 crossbow or balloon

It's a roller coaster for sure. That's what makes it fun and frustrating, sometimes both at once. I lost about 150 trophies messing around with my deck. I've been trying to use the Royal Giant, but most of the time it seems like a waste of elixir when I use it.

Thank God this game doesn't tell you how much time you've spent playing overall or how many matches lost. Just in wins ALONE I'm at 24 hours of play time. Easily the most time I've ever put into a phone game.

Just when I think it's time for a break, BAM! Ice Wizard from a magical chest. My first legendary card. Now I have 48 out of 54 cards. I'm still bouncing between areas 6 and 7.

The mirror only costs one elixir more than the last card you used. So using your example, he dropped one hog for 4 elixir and then another hog for 5 elixir. I've seen the mirror used a lot with the Ice Wizard, since you could drop the first for 3 elixir and then another for 4 elixir.

I'm still level 7 but it seems like everyone i face in the 1300s is level 8. often they destroy me but i'm having more close games instead of blow outs. My interest fell some yesterday when i faced someone who was Elixir hacking. they dumped about 30 elixir worth of units in less than 3 seconds. I then went and looked it up and its a pretty common hack, along with infinite gems/gold.

I'm a level 8 with 2000/5000 xp towards level 9, currently sitting at 2250 trophies. A level 8 should be in the 2000 range. I got to stage 7 when I still a level 7
My deck that i have been using lately is Giant 6 Wiz 6 goblin hut 6 knight 9 small minion horde 9 witch 2 elixir collector 4 Valkyrie 6 Prior to this I was using a large minion horde and baby dragon instead of the witch and elixir collector. I'm getting further with the new deck. |

I got beat by cheaters twice in a row yesterday. maybe even a third time. One guy dropped 4 sets of level 8 barbarians and 2 witches within about 3 seconds.
The time i wasnt sure was a hack but seemed real fishy was when i was beating a really weak guy and in the last 40 seconds, i get a disconnected warning (which i have never gotten before) for 20 seconds then everything moves really fast for the remaining time and he kills my main keep. it seemed weird since he had really low level troops for his trophy level |

Yikes, glad I don't think i've encountered any cheating yet. I'm in a happy place in Arena 5 trying to level up and finally almost level 8 which should help a bit.

I finally gave up on this game. It was a combination of cheaters, poor sportsmanship, ridiculous losses and card pulls, and I'm getting busier at work.
After I fell below 1200 trophies and was in danger of falling to arena 3 I said fuck it. |

I'm slowly losing interest in this game. It's starting to feel like a chore to get the crown chest every day. I did just get enough to get my baby dragon up to level 3, so I'll shift that back into my deck to mess around with for awhile. I'm also sitting on a magical chest I need to open.
