The matchmaking definitely sucks. Sometimes I play someone in a higher arena. One guy had a Prince, Barbarians, a Witch, Goblin Barrels, and a Cannon.

The X-Bow kicks all sorts of ass. I've been putting it right in front of my main tower and it just destroys everything. The only thing that sucks is that it doesn't target flying enemies, but at that point the other three towers are shooting those guys. I've been close to arena 5 a couple times now, but then hit a losing streak and lose 100+ trophies. I still really enjoy the game though.

I keep bouncing between 1000 and 1200 points so i get a mix of the barbarian bowl and robot arenas. i finally got a witch but no prince. the minion hordes are pretty tough

Now I understand why the leader and top player in our clan gets so upset and frustrated with those he calls "Cheaters"...one's who essentially buy their way to the top. But good grief...$12,000!!! Heck...I'd look at $180 as a bit insane. I could see $30-$60 maybe but seriously, these people need to get a life.

what are you guys' sets you use?
I've been going with the following 7 for a while: -melee goblins -minion horde -minions -barbarians -little robot -baby dragon (level 2) -skeleton horder (level 2) 8th place has been alternating between goblin spears, bomber, arrows and rocket. I alternate sides of attack and try and sneak through a good little robot or skeleton horde hit on their tower. I mainly use the minions and goblins as counters for princes, giants, witches and such |

My current deck is:
Skeleton Army (lv 2) Hog rider (lv 3) Baby dragon (lv 2) Goblin hut (lv 5) Goblin barrel (lv 2) Freeze (lv 1) X-box (lv 1) Minion horde (lv 7) I'm mainly built for defense. And most of the games I win or lose comes down to a single tower (usually in overtime). I float around 1200 trophies and haven't spent a dime. |

I just got to Level 6 but my current deck is....
mini PEKKA (lv 4)...both Defense & Offense Valkyrie (lv 4)...mainly Defense Goblin Barrel (lv 2)...Offense Barbarians (lv 7)...Defense & Offense Minions (lv 6)...Defense Air & Ground Goblin Hut (lv 4)... Offense Musketeer (lv 4)....Defense Air & Ground Skeleton Army (lv 2)...Mainly Offense Reserved....I'll swap out and use a Bomber (lv 6) and try to put him behind the Goblins and Barbarians. He does quite a bit of damage. I have a barbarian Hut I use a bit but it sucks (7) elixir. I did get a Xbow but at Level 1 it doesn't seem much and costs (6) elixir. A few others I use is Tombstone (lv 3), Witch (lv 1) and Rocket (lv 3) |

Sweet, got a Giant Chest drop this morning. I also like how they just started labeling which arena the chests drop from. I guess that does make a difference, because I have two golden chests from two different arenas.

I know nickdawgy mentioned this in our clan chat too, but I've basically been stuck around arena 3 and 4 for sometime now too. Feels like i'm not progressing at all anymore at this point :(

My wife finally convinced me to start playing this past weekend. It's pretty addictive but waiting to open a chest then having to wait some more to play again gets frustrating. At one point I had (3) 8 hour chests lined up.

the level 2 or 3 balloon is my current nemesis. I still havent found one in a chest or seen it on the market |

The past couple days have been real shitty for me. I was up to 1638 trophies and then down to around 1200 trophies. Going from arena 6 down to arena 4 was rough. Most of the losses came from trying out new decks with under leveled cards. I'm back to around 1450 now but am running into people that are putting money into the game.

yeah i had the same thing happen. I was up in the 1400s at the spell caster arena but i started getting destroyed by people who put money into the game (level 3 balloons!) and fell all the way down to around 1000 and the barbarian bowl level after messing around with an 'all skeleton' themed team (total sucks).

i almost threw my iphone across the room this morning. i am a beginner at around 500 trophies (arena 2). i think i lost 7 out of 8 matches this morning. Fucking Baby Dragons drive me insane. i can't unlock baby dragon or prince to save my life
