Game Of The Year 2015
Incoming Poll. Again as always I'm limited to 25 games/poll options. I tried listing as many games as I could and ones our community seem to talk about the most. Apologies if your favorite game is missing on this list.

I've played a majority of these, most were pretty decent, Bloodborne though is one of my all-time picks.

Re: Game Of The Year 2015
I voted Fallout 4. I've put over 100 Hours into the game and am still finding new locations, quests, creatures, cool guns etc etc. I've come across a few glitches here and there but nothing that has hindered my experience.
Graphics are not as bad as people have made them out to be. They're not Witcher 3 level great but I'm not very picky on graphics and more on gameplay/ fun factor.
My choice of GOTY may change after playing other games from this year but as of now Fallout 4 is my Game Of The Year.

Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is still easily my favorite.

This has been a great year for games. Life is Strange, Axiom Verge, Fallout 4, Ori and the Blind Forest, Yoshi's Wooly World. It's going to be hard for me to do a top twenty.

I have been occupied with what seems like a 6 month move so I haven't gotten too many games in. However, I haven't played a dud yet.
Two favorites are Batman and Tomb Raider but I haven't finished either.

Re: Game Of The Year 2015
Looks like I have to play Life Is Strange. Just bought it a couple of days ago. As of now, crazy as it sounds, I'm leaning towards Until Dawn. While The Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 are impressive games, they haven't really clicked with me yet the way, for example Mass Effect 2 did. I'm usually not a huge fan of sprawling RPGs.
Until Dawn was far from a prefect game. It's fairly short, has limited replay-ability and sometimes presents the illusion of choice rather than actual choice. That said, it absolutely delivered on its main promise -- it's a Horror Movie simulation and a great one at that. It did things I've never fully seen in a game before. It allowed you to make the very worst choices and left you to deal with the consequences and go forward (sort of like real life). It was very well voiced and looked amazing. I probably had more fun playing it than anything else this year (though I did love Rise of the TR and played all 30+ hours over the Thanksgiving break, ignoring even some NFL to finish it).

Re: Game Of The Year 2015
I personally can't decide between the two. Ori was better in regards to overall presentation (mechanics, fluidity, art, original score), but LiS wins for feels (story, indie-music in key scenes, tragedy, choices, characters)
I give LiS extra points for being shockingly better than I originally expected when I started the free demo.
it really is a fantastic game. It's not my GOTY, but it's up there. I need to revisit it to play it differently. My only issue is that it slows down a LOT in some parts. If the overall game was 2-3 hours shorter, it'd be damn near perfect, IMO.
So, my GOTY is tied.
Life is Strange / Ori and the Blind Forest
Runners up:
Until Dawn
Batman: Arkham Knight - Hated some parts, but overall, I spent a TON of time with it and I kind of miss playing it.
Fallout 4 - it's more fallout, and it's great, but not amazing. I can't put it any higher because I haven't finished it yet.

I've only just started The Witcher 3 (haven't even killed the Griffin yet because I'm doing side quests), but I could see how that could become my GOTY.
Out of what I've put time into, it's Life is Strange for me, with Until Dawn as honorable mention.

Bloodborne is my pick....outstanding design, look, play and atmosphere.
Dying Light has to be most underrated and even say the same about Wolfenstein The New Order. And I haven't played Fallout 4 and would say it's in the Top 3 GotY

Bloodborne for me. By far. And further cemented by the recent Old Hunters DLC. Just a fantastic game - challenging and engaging and never cheap or frustrating.

Going to go off the board and pick a sports game: PES 2016
Brilliant game of football(aka soccer) and something EA knows nothing about.
