If someone were to show me that video and then tell me it's a Far Cry property, I wouldn't believe it. I gotta say, it doesn't look like something I'd be interested in. I love the typical FC adventures -- even as repetitive as they can be. Getting all new weapons and upgrades is more than half the fun. Using animals to attack other animals or baddies seems slow and boring.

My concern as well. While they looked cool visually, I found them tedious to actually play through. It's the only thing I didn't 100% complete. I also worry that free roaming/exploring will get old even quicker in this setting.

Yes, it really does. I'm in--loved all the Far Cry games, and with amazon's sweet new video game deal I've preordered for $47.99.

I pre-ordered and it's on its way... FC as a franchise has been very solid and the last offering was fantastic so this game gets the benefit of the doubt.

Yeah I've put in over 61 hours on Far Cry 4 and am just a tad over 85% not including the season pass content that I just got. I'll definitely get this as soon as I'm done with 4.

You sound like me and in almost the same place with that many hours and completion. I've still yet to do the Yeti part....

I've had a good time with FC4 with the open world and various things you can do...both normal and just whacky. But the timing release on this is bad....I'm considering The Division, we're still in the middle of Dying Light The Following, I'd actually like to get Plants vs Zombies 2 and on top of it all I'd like to try Uncharted 4.

I'll probably hold off and see what the release schedule is for the next few months...I know dark Souls III is a few months away. But the game does look good and a new take without all the modern stuff to play with.

My rental copy just shipped from Gamefly this morning (thanks for that Notification at 6:30 this morning, GameFly App!). I didn't really want to buy this game, at least at full price, but I'm looking forward to giving it a try now.
