Pikmin 4 apparently coming very soon?
 

Eurogamer just published an interview with Miyamoto today, even though it was conducted back in July, and he offhandedly mentioned that Pikmin 4 is "very close to completion". No word on if it's coming to the Wii U or the NX.

Gotta be WiiU right? Only way to get out a sequel so fast(reusing resources).

At any rate, fantastic news. Pikmin 3 is one of my favorite games this Gen.

There's never been a 3DS Pikmin game, has there? Seems like a missed opportunity.

Wow. I'd day one purchase that for sure. I never played Pikmin 1 or 2 but 3 has been one of the highlights of the past couple of years imho.

Not yet. Miyamoto:

If NX does wind up being a platform with a handheld SKU and a console SKU, and if Pikmin 4 is for the NX -- and, yeah, that's a whole lotta "if"s -- then maybe that'd be our handheld Pikmin!

It sounds like this could be a way to pad out the Wii U's 2016 schedule since the engine and a bunch of assets are ready to go.

Please be true. I currently revisiting Pikmin 3 and have been loving it. Now I want to go back and play the first two.
