Ah, I thought that might be the case, thanks.
I know it's a short game, but I figure if I sit down and play a chapter at a time, I'll get more enjoyment out of it. I could easily see myself replaying it with a FAQ in hand to see how it plays out saving everyone. Because there is going to be plenty of bloodshed in my first playthrough

Re: Until Dawn (PS4 - 8/25/15)
Finished the game yesterday and only three people died
Overall, I thought the game was fantastic. Sure, it had some faults (character movement is too slow, the supernatural stuff towards the end felt rushed and out of place) but it felt original and refreshing from all of the games we continue to see every year. I also liked the movie posters they used in the theater room (The House of the Devil & The Innkeepers)
I'm a little surprised Sony didn't put a little more marketing behind this and release it last October instead of just tossing it out to die in the summer. Hopefully now that it's a $20 title, more people will check it out and we can get some sort of follow up.
It looks like Amazon had some sort of preorder bonus for an extra chapter or something, did anyone get that play through it? I couldn't find it anywhere on the store, so I guess they didn't sell it as separate DLC?

Really late to the party. Got it free on PSN a while ago, but finally got around to playing it, and... fucking hated it! Hated every fucking thing about it. Name it, I hated it. Forced myself to play for 2 hours, then promptly deleted it off my PS4's hard drive. Wish it was on disc, so I could burn it, break it, just something more visceral than deleting it. I honestly don't understand how anyone can enjoy this garbage game.

Re: Until Dawn (PS4 - 8/25/15)
Finally finished this a shortly ago. Fucking brilliant. Loved damned near everything about it.
I'll get the gripes out of the way first. First the walking speed. It's a horror story and no one can run? Not even jog or even a brisk speed walk?
If anything keeps me from revisiting the game a second time, it'll probably be that. Second I'm tired of games relying on supernatural elements. The story was excellent until that point. It's lazy writing. I also wish the psychiatrist scenes had more of a payoff. Early on I thought it was going to play out that those occurred after the events of the game and your identity couldn't be revealed because you haven't played it yet. I still think that could have been cooler. Lastly, the character interaction stats had zero impact. Kinda wish they did something.
So the production, design, music, story(minus the supernatural stuff), etc. was amazing. I loved the sound design. I played a good chunk of the game with headphones and the sound design really shone through.
Potential spoilers ahead:
My story. 5 lived but I cheated on one at the end. I play games in a Laz-y-boy rocker/recliner and the last of the "don't move" moments got me. It seemed like that last one was far more sensitive than any prior. I'll be damned if that's a reason a character dies in a game.
Jess bit it early on while Mike was trying to "get some,"(QTE got me) followed by Matt (I panicked and attacked a group of possessed deer, bad idea) and Josh. Josh was weird, it felt like I had no choice in him dying. We were on the way out of the cave and was attacked. There was no QTE or decision to avoid it. So I'm not sure how I went wrong there.
All in all, despite the flaws it was a damn unique experience. Probably my favorite horror game since the original Condemned. A+

I'm a little surprised there hasn't been news of a true sequel to this game since it seemed to be received extremely well. There's just been the VR stuff, which I don't have much interest in.

BUMP! So just re-read the whole thread
So decided to finally play this after completing their other game MAN OF MEDAN. Fuck I loved this game. This was way way better than Medan. Great game overall. I saved all characters on my first playthrough even though I would of loved to kill Emily first, then Josh and probably Jessica. Did not like the Doctor Hill scenes. Got all but 2 collectibles. The turning on the power DON'T MOVE section I kept failing, cause I was confused what to do (didn't pay attention the the tutorial with the crow). Anyway I turned off the shock function soon after that, and I never had any more fails in DON'T MOVE sections. And I liked that when I made I mistake, I could dashboard quit and re do my mistake, unlike MAN OF MEDAN (that really pissed me off).
Replayed soon after and got missing collectibles and trophies while getting all characters killed. 100% trophies.
