Rainbow Six: Siege Slips Past Black Friday Into December
Rainbow Six: Siege is still coming this year, but it will miss the biggest shopping weekend of the holiday season. The title was supposed to be out on October 13, but has slipped nearly two months.
Getting the game in people’s hands and listening to what they have to say helps us understand how we can improve their experience, and we’d like to thank everyone who’s taken part in the process so far,” Ubisoft says. “With that in mind, we’ve decided to push the release date of Rainbow Six Siege to December 1, 2015 for all regions

Same day as Just Cause 3 will likely cause me to delay purchase of this until further down the road. The continual delays kill my excitement for this and makes it less and less of a can't wait title.

Re: RAINBOW SIX: Siege
I'm interested, but will hold judgement until the beta in September. Especially now that it is the same day as Xenoblade Chronicles & Just Cause 3.

It's going to be interesting how this will do now that it comes "After" COD: Black Ops III and Star Wars Battlefront...both highly anticipated and coming out in November. And as Gator mentioned, Just Cause 3 hits about the same time

Bump
This game is out today
Anyone pick it up or are you all broke from Black Friday shopping?
A beta demo was released over the weekend and I downloaded it, but I couldn't figure out how to work it. It kept directing me to sign up for multi-player thing on the game website. So I just deleted it. Very annoying.
Anyways, the footage that I've seen makes this game look cool. Any impressions?

Re: RAINBOW SIX: Siege
I haven't had proper internet from home in over a year but I am pretty sure by the end of the year that will change and when it does I am 100% getting this game.

I pre-ordered with GCU... but I have no idea when I'll get to it. I've yet to touch Tomb Raider and JC3 arrived last night. Hell, I haven't even played a single minute of BO3 single player. I loved, loved, loved Rainbow Six Vegas and this game looks like an improvement on that one in every way.

I went ahead and grabbed this on PS4 ahead of the Best Buy sale. Looking forward to doing some terrorist hunts online with my friends and some of you guys. It is my favorite mode. Hell, I would pay a little bit of money if the would upgrade the maps from Vegas 1 and 2 and put them as DLC on here.

Re: RAINBOW SIX: Siege
I have a friend at work who was playing Starwars but traded it in for this and said it's Night & Day above it. I'm thinking of doing the BB B2G1F deal and this might be in the mix. What's the latest on the overall gameplay and just how does the SP and co-op part work? And is this more like Battlefield where it's built mainly around the MP (5v5) with SP/co-op just added for the sake of it or is it balanced with all three?

I've yet to play --- but I hope it's like the old days where you actually had to communicate to be successful.

So I fired this up this weekend and discovered there is no SP mode? WTF? Very disappointed as just doing 10 "missions" to learn the lay of the land is cheap as hell. In my one online experience, nobody communicated yet we smoked the other team. This is hardly the R6 I was hoping for.

Re: RAINBOW SIX: Siege
^^ Yes, don't believe it. You might need to try to enter MP or even the SP training modes a few times, but it will connect. Every time I fire up R6, it says I can't connect to the servers. The game can be fun, but they screwed the pooch with this offering.

I'm loving this game so far. It takes a while to get into it, but playing with the right group its a blast. I do have problems sometimes connecting to ubisoft but it usually reconnects after a few seconds.
I have it on xbox one and if anyone wants to add me, my gamertag is maingon360

Re: RAINBOW SIX: Siege
Yeah it worked today I guess it was their servers. I know I can't start multiplayer until I finish scenarios but I was concerned it wasn't connecting at all.
