I was under the impression there shouldn't be any radroach attacks unless you are actively using the game.

Yeah, I've never been attacked unless I was in a game. Never while sleeping or anything.

I just realized that somewhat contradicted what I said earlier where I saw a bunch of dead guys suddenly. So maybe it is a bit buggy in that regard.

Here is one thing that makes me think that the game (attacks included) continues overnight - I get game alerts well after exiting the game (main menu > confirming quit) ... so, if I am getting SMS alerts, that would make me think that the game itself is still running, right?

I'd honestly pay for this game if they changed a few things but I just don't have the time to click a bunch of squares, pray I earn money to buy something and then get shafted with an attack from the Wasteland. I'm not buying a robot to auto collect shit and I'm not buying lunchboxes. I'd rather get a more complete, complex and manageable game for 10-15 bucks.

I thought I was doing better - building slow - but something happened and everyone is poisoned and I can't make rad packs and stims quick enough .... ugh

I gave up on this awhile ago, and I love Fallout.

I don't think the attacks do, or i'd get in the game in the morning with dead guys. Because even with all my guys towards the top at the max level, max all stats, good armor, and great weapons, the death claws usually kill some (since they seem to like to attack when i am low on stimpacks).

Well I finally got hit with corrupt save bug. As of this morning, my vault will no longer load. The app gets as far as the loading screen and crashes back to the iOS home screen. It was working fine last night. From what I've found on Google, it's a fairly common occurrence. No known fix, or even an acknowledgment from Bethesda that a problem exists. I'm not overly upset because I hadn't spent any money on the game, but I have seen quite a few complaints from people that did, and now it's lost forever because of this bug.

Only solution is to delete the app and reinstall which wipes everything. I don't really feel like starting over. Oh well, it was slightly fun while it lasted... slightly.
