Re: Dark Souls 3 (PS4 & Xbox One)

Does the exploit still work in getting the game early? I was thinking of trying it but don't wanna buy ms yen points only to find it won't work. Can you just use your us ms account to buy it or will that get me banned? I know you need to switch regions to Japan? I did Google how to do it just wondering if there's an easier way?

Keep in mind that you'll be on v1.0, which is the reviewer's build. No multi, bosses at 40% health; still, so fucking awesome to get it early!

This is the most excited for a game that I've been in forever. Just watching twitch has me super pumped.

Does that include the regular enemies? Most go down in one hit. They're super easy compared to previous souls games enemies. I'm only on the first proper level so maybe that will change?

This game feels more like demon than dark with
Spoiler:
the world being split off into levels, a hub world, and leveling inside the hub world

Probably. Do you get to upgrade to the retail version when its released or are you stuck with that one?

I'm assuming it will. It's the full English language version and I paid the full price.

That is disappointing.
Spoiler:
The whole game world being linked together is one of the things that makes Dark Souls so special.

I dunno, my favorite thing about Bloodborne was how
Spoiler:
most of the levels were connected and intertwined - it would be a bummer to lose that

Still may be the case here
Spoiler:
Bloodborne has distinctive "levels", and the Cathedral Ward was more or less the hub (with Hunters Dream being the level up area). I'm curious if this is as seamless as that.

Re: Dark Souls 3 (PS4 & Xbox One)

I still wouldn't mind getting this though I never finished Bloodborne. But I'd want this mainly for the co-op experience...Bloodborne tested my SP experience and patience a lot. Does anyone know just how the matchmaking co-op works with say different level players involved?

LOL. Someone's already done a speed-run in under 2 hours.

Re: Dark Souls 3 (PS4 & Xbox One)

Polygon gave it a 7, saying it showed too many kinks in the proverbial armor.

Of course, I rarely agree with them or their scores.

This will be me tomorrow night (that is, unless I'm playing Ratchet & Clank instead)

Re: Dark Souls 3 (PS4 & Xbox One)

I pre-ordered the day 1 edition from Amazon since I am a prime member. Looks like it isn't even going to ship until tomorrow.

They need to work on their "release day delivery".

I've never had an issue with release day delivery, might be location based?
