Yeah even with the lego hoarders and resellers buying them up in droves these seem overproduced.

Yeah, there's none of these anywhere near me. Never heard of it before. Is this mainly a west coast thing?

Damn, those are a steal at that price just to have some minifigs and pieces.

I've noticed there are three groups buying these: People who play the game, people who collect Legos, and people stocking up for Amazon and eBay.

Based in CA. There are stores also in Nevada, Arizona and Texas.

What other group of people would there be?

The people that want a jump on building that wall.

Nice! I may have to run to one today.

Just a heads-up for anyone who hasn't gotten a Green Arrow yet, I was amazed to walk into my local GameStop last night and--three months after the promo--ask if they had any left from Black Friday. The clerk reached into a drawer and threw one on the counter for me.

If you haven't yet gotten Green Arrow check out your local GameStop. You never know!

They definitely mass-produced those. At the Comic Con panel, they have boxes and boxes ready to go.

I saw a ton at the two 99 cent stores by me. I bought extras so my son can trade minifigs at Legoland.

Lucky. My Gamestop ended up screwing me out of one. They said I was second in line to get one once they got their shipment in, I called every other day to get an update and they assured me they'd call as soon as they came in. Nope.

The 99c store clearance is actually souring me on this game. I realize they just massively overproduced but what a waste of money at even previous sale prices.

Not quite confirmation, but it looks like the last announced group of sets may actually be the last:

I was hoping with The Lego Batman Movie
Spoiler:
having some of the characters from Dimensions, that others in the movie like from The Matrix, Jaws, and Clash of the Titans (1981) would come back across to the game.
Oh well.

Re: LEGO Dimensions (Multi-Console, 9/27/2015)

With Best Buy's current 50% off deal, I was able to all-but-complete my collection. Still missing the Jay Ninjago since it's still a TRU exclusive for some reason and the Supergirl promo from recent PS4 starter kits (but I believe she'll be released separately soon).

I know I'm the problem. I haven't bought any piece of this thing for full price except for launch day. It's my fault the thing only sells when it is drastically undercut with 50% off, 20% GCU, and 10% BB Visa coupon. I mean, I got the Fantastic Beasts and LEGO Batman story packs for $18 each :(

I will buy whatever they release, though I may have to act quicker as I'm not sure if they're ramping down production if Wave 8 will be the last.

Goonies and LEGO City packs pre-order are 50% off on Amazon right now. Not Hermione, though...

Just coming here to post that!

I ordered what was available. I'm still tempted to pick up a Green Arrow since my Gamestop never got me the one from Black Friday. $40 is a lot, though. I was hoping for wider distribution, but if the game really is winding down, who knows.

Thanks for sharing. I've only got one each for Ninjago and Chima, but have picked up all the other packs, so I went ahead and ordered these two. I actually played for the first time in a while last night and noticed it looked like some levels had been removed from the hub. Guessing that reflects things no longer being released due to the anticipated cancellation?

Some things have moved around, but I haven't noticed anything removed. Anything in particular you noted?

IIRC, I thought there were previously 6 spots for level packs in year 2 and I believe there were only 3 or 4 last night. It looked like there might be fewer open world areas as well, but I hadn't done a count there before.

Huge sale at Microsoftstore.com - Most LD Fun Packs are $5 + free shipping. Includes A-Team and the newer Tina/Fantastic Beasts packs. I used it to get a bunch of the old Ninjago characters I didn't have yet.

Also a couple Team Packs (Joker + Harley, Ninjago) for $11.99.

Note that it's limit 5 per order, but you can place multiple orders. :D

Goonies is out today, along with Lego City, I think.

Goonies was delivered to my house earlier.

Re: LEGO Dimensions (Multi-Console, 9/27/2015)

This is only a partial complaint since I wasn't going to get right to it anyway, but Amazon gave me release day delivery using their delivery service. In my area, Amazon Delivery will deliver whenever they feel like it. Out for Delivery, then they decide they can't be bothered today. Once they delivered to the bushes outside an unused entrance to my office building. Oh well, I'll play this weekend.
