Good point. Thanks!

Because the ports in the back are a pain in the ass to access, at least they are with my set-up.

Convenience since the back of most consoles are difficult to reach.

I just use this and I haven't put a drive in it yet: http://www.amazon.com/Collective-Min...3309692&sr=1-1

oh please. Zen Pinball has no problems auto-recognizing and downloading tables on new platforms. stop making excuses for their shitty programmers.

You don't get all your legacy tables at once. You have to download those tables one by one.

Sure, but it can at least tell you which tables you already own.
This stupid game (which lacks online play) can highlight DLC tracks your Friends own for some odd reason, but not the songs you already have purchased. It's absurd and should have been fixed. No reason they couldn't sort DLC into a Purchased, Not Downloaded category.

I'm not making excuses. I'm just relaying what they're saying.

Due to first-party technical restrictions, we are unable to support batch downloads within the first-party stores.
There is no way to batch download pre-purchased content through the first parties. Therefore, there is no way for us to batch download pre-purchased content as your purchases go through the first parties.
We understand your frustrations. Unfortunately there is no way for us to organize the first party stores further than the information provided in this post.
There are better, more detailed quotes, but I can't find them with a quick Google search.

They said that they can't even just list the songs that you've purchased. Can't speak to how Zen Pinball works, but maybe it's an issue with the volume of DLC? There are things they should be able to address, though. Why do I get kicked out of the in-game store on the PS4 all the friggin' time when I'm browsing songs? Why clutter up the store with songs I'm not entitled to buy? (If I bought a pack, I can't buy the individual songs, but there are screens of songs with those stupid blinking dots next to 'em. Can't they even just say 'Unavailable' and lose the dots?)

I'm not giving Harmonix a pass, but if they say that there are limitations imposed by Sony and Microsoft, I'm inclined to believe them. Look at all the other dumb stuff Sony and Microsoft have done!

Too busy to dig in, but with packs like The Doors pack that came out right after RB3, and that one big Queen pack... I have those, but they still aren't able to download. I see the songs, but they show as not bought. What's the poop?

http://www.harmonixmusic.com/blog/so...thing-we-said/

January Patch is now the February (1st-5th) Patch.

No DLC next week (1/26).

Leaderboard wipe.

Xbox RB1 export "unlikely this week".

@RockBand: Surprise, Xbox One players! RB1 export redownload is now available as singles. (Ps. We're working on a bundle download option to come later)

If you go into Manage Game from RB4 on the home screen, all of the singles should be there, ready to download. That's what I did, anyway.

And, as a side note, the sing-a-long part for Weezer's "Say It Ain't So" is pretty damn robust. It seemed like half the song. Made it really feel like a concert moment, at least to me.

The Bon Jovi song doesn't show up in the "Ready to install" section but can be downloaded if you look it up. Unlike the rest of the songs it was already available on the store which probably explains that quirk.

Yeah, all Ready To Install for me. Sweet.

Now we are only waiting on RB2 and Lego RB imports, right?

I'm pretty sure that's it. They are all already listed under the game hub at least on the XB1 version just when you try to click them they are under a bundle which you can't use so I assume it won't be too much longer.

On the Xbox One, there's still AC/DC and the track pack discs.

The PS4 is missing those and doesn't have the Green Day export yet either.

(I saw the AC/DC disc at Walmart for $5 just before the cutoff for exporting but decided against it. Hopefully I won't regret that!)

I'm one of 'em! Plus there are the delisted songs and the stuff that's just not working (like the Depeche Mode 3-pack on the PS4).

Re: Rock Band 4 (XB1/PS4, 2015)

So I ordered an XBOX One and the Rock Band adapter to use old instruments. I have RB1 & 2 as actual discs I bought, then got RB3 used (all for 360), and was successful in importing everything to it. Will I have issues importing everything into RB4 with the rental/used RB3?

The only issue would be if you exported RB1 & 2 already. For RB3, I think they just verify that you've played the game and you can download all the songs for $15.
