Not at all, I was working frantically in my office in order to eventually pay for my Tesla. I wasn't browsing the forum while driving my car.*
*though admittedly, I could have been had I wanted to.

What does "social features" mean? Multiplayer?
How the hell does it take them two months to implement breakneck speed? Luckily I never really cared to use that feature.

I highly doubt it means actual online multiplayer. If that was the case, they would have just said that. I'm taking it as maybe being able to see your friend's scores? Or possible being able to upvote/recommend songs to people on your friends list.
Too much hacky sack?

I always use Breakneck Speed on Hard guitar and Bass. I am not good enough for all the notes on Expert but I like the speed. Hard is the perfect combination of not too many notes but gives you the speed of Expert.

I Will Follow by U2 on-disc:
Hopefully more U2 DLC Will Follow. Get it?
Edit: there are two U2 songs on-disc and later DLC is confirmed.

I just saw that myself and came here to join/start the discussion.
So: uhhhhh, what? If this turns out to be true, hidden, surprise goodness, I'll be shocked they kept it under wraps! Isn't that a pre-order driving band?

Maybe 15 years ago when U2 was relevant.

wtf. I thought they already confirmed breakneck speed, but were talking about possibly adding it as an individual track speed setting. this company needs to stop hiring 1/2 time musicians/baristas to do their programming.

I like them. I'm a fan. I don't know if they'd crack my top 10 though.
Anti-U2 backlash isn't uncommon. I wouldn't have replied to someone just saying they hate them. That's a matter of opinion. The comments I replied to were just ignorant. They won the Grammy for best album just 10 years ago. The physical release of their last album still debuted in the top 10 after practically every human being with internet access was given a digital copy for free.
Even if you hate U2 it's impossible to deny that this is a huge get for Harmonix/Rock Band, the biggest since The Beatles.

For the record, I enjoy U2 in the same way you describe. I wasn't backlashing. My first post clearly claimed they shouldn't be a secret. The second was merely a joke
I do think the "relevance" comment is irrelevant. There are so many bands that have hit RB discs that have been dormant longer than U2 as well as those that never came close to their relevance.
I stand by my question of "Isn't that a pre-order driving band?" Far more so than Van Halen of which a major hub-bub was made.

I guess I just don't see it. U2 is the not band that springs to mind when I think of a band that is going to put someone over the Edge to buy Rock Band.

Honestly, neither The Beatles nor U2 makes me want to buy Rock Band, I have no issues with either's music but when it comes to RB I just want fun songs to play, and neither of those bands are it. I wouldn't mind a few songs from the Stones though, Gimme Shelter and Sympathy for the Devil are always fun. (who doesn't want to sing along to "Rape... Murder!" repeatedly while drinking? Alright so maybe no Gimme Shelter).

But I'll stand by the statement that U2 is their biggest score post-Beatles.
Also: the other song is Cedarwood Road from the new album. I listened to the new album maybe 3 times when it came out and I have no idea which song that was. No huge surprise that they wanna promote it while charging for the hit songs people actually want.
