Anything above $50 will make the transaction worth it, since that pre-order DLC will be $20+ when it comes out later. And I'm weak when it comes to Rock Band DLC... I'll buy anything that's not Avenged Sevenfold.

So Babymetal > Avenged Sevenfold? You can't be serious. That's a weird line you decided not to cross. I'm not a big fan of them, but they have fun songs and are at least very skilled musicians.

I'm not buying that Babymetal song. It's free!

But what about when they release a Babymetal 3-pack a month later? Or an Ed Sheeran 10-pack?

I'd at least buy "Thinking Out Loud".

So, what song are you playing first (assuming the entire disc is unlocked)?

For me, it'll definitely be "Light Up the Night" by The Protomen.

Re: Rock Band 4 (XB1/PS4, 2015)

So I think this may be news: they just answered a Twitter user's question about DLC and apparently the $2-per-track price is the same. A quick Google search didn't show any prior confirmation of this. It may not have been the first time they confirmed it on Twitter though.

It makes me wonder if the open-ended Legacy DLC sale will be coming to an end soon. With no more keyboard support and harmony vocals being added to all applicable Legacy DLC there's no longer any reason to draw a line between Legacy DLC and RB3 DLC.

Re: Rock Band 4 (XB1/PS4, 2015)

Mad Catz still has me on their PR lists and I've asked about 12 times to be removed, so I will spill some beans. Shit is shipping to stores already. YAY!

To be clear: Rock Band 4 launches October 6 globally, the release is simply announcing that hardware is ready and shipping to retail ahead of the launch.
Products shipping include:

Rock Band 4 video game, stand-alone software;
Band-in-a-Box Bundle™, which includes the Rock Band 4 game, a Wireless Fender™ Stratocaster™ Guitar Controller, a Wireless Drum Kit Controller and a Microphone; and
Guitar Bundle, which includes the Rock Band 4 game and a Wireless Fender Stratocaster Guitar Controller.

I've heard that the $1 "sale" price will be going away right around the time of launch. So if you're looking to pick up some legacy songs, now would be the time to do it.

Is there a list to the sale titles with a purchase link? I don't know which ones I want and which ones I own anymore

I think most everything is on sale. I would just cross-reference http://www.harmonixmusic.com/games/r.../legacy-songs/ with the XBL marketplace. I'll probably do that instead of work tomorrow.

Awesome. Much better than productivity!

Looking at the website, there's no real way to tell if I have already bought a particular song in a pack or album bundle. Does the Music store clearly indicate if you already own a song or not?
Between my frivolous spending of Spacebucks at the close of the last decade and those glorious days of Free Mountain Dew codes, I don't have a clue which songs I own and which I don't.

That's my problem also. I no longer have my 360 so I have no clue what songs I had purchased/exported at this point.

Re: Rock Band 4 (XB1/PS4, 2015)

So this time next week will we be seeing the return of the weekly DLC announcement?

Apparently the launch DLC will be paid versions of the preorder bonuses though.

I went back to www.myrockbandsongs.com to try to help out. Is there no unified Microsoft download/purchase history online anymore?

Edit: Nevermind. Found it! https://live.xbox.com/en-US/download/history

Hopefully! Harmonix has been cagey about the DLC scheduling. I'm not sure that they want to commit to doing it weekly, but hopefully it'll be very regular.

...which is awesome news! I was worried there'd be a window of exclusivity.

Do you have a ton of "Unknown Title" listed in yours?

Maybe it is the Xbox One items listed for some reason...

I tried looking on both the Rock Band Blitz and Rock Band Music store, but neither would connect to the server...

Re: Rock Band 4 (XB1/PS4, 2015)

Those are the X1 purchases, yes.

I think they said the online portions of the legacy games will be down while they do upgrades in preparation for the launch. Should be back soon.

I went back to my "wishlist" for before RB3 for the sale prices. I'm good.
